Hello to all SWG enthusiasts.My in-game name is Diveho and i am a live and EMU veteran like many others including our host here, Mobyus ! I tend to help new players in-game just like many others in the SWG community tend to do. It's a nice,mature community for the most part, of course there are bad apples everywhere but the players in SWG have always been a lot more helpful than in other games.Mobyus has been doing an EXCELLENT job with his detailed tutorials, specifically on my 2 most favorite game aspects,hunting and crafting.I was amazed that he is one of few people that will analyze in detail every little bit of information concerning the game mechanics.I tend to go into a lot of detail myself as well when teaching new players. I have been away fom my pc for the last 3 months and no,i wasn't in jail,lol....just travelling and getting paperwork done to get married. But i'll be coming back in the game this week ,beginning of June, so if anyone needs help or advice in-game,feel free to use the in-game mail system which is exactly the same as sending an e-mail in real life.The mail in the game gets stored for a month or more and i'll be able to access it by the end of this week.I'll be glad to help,just send a short message to Diveho (last name is not needed as all first names are unique) ,say Hi and i'll get back to you .It's always a great pleasure to help new players learn the best MMO ever made. All that being said, a great THANK YOU goes out to all the EMU developers for their time,patience,love and passion for this wonderful experience so we can all enjoy it,newbies and veterans alike.And of course to Mobyus for making these supreme videos. Hm. To be honest. I haven't watched all of your SWGEmu videos, but am currently barreling through them. :P I soon shall count myself as a player. Even though I have never played a single minute before. Only seen videos of yours, which has convinced me to try it out. Thanks man! ^^

+Verithiell I highly recommend watching my last 3 videos (Episodes 100, 101, and 102). I literally just made a video about JTL (space combat) yesterday! And yes, lots of people still playing... but we'll always also have bots in the cantina, too!

Hey, I hope someone can answer me my question: I have bought a MSE- 6 Mouse Droid, but I have no experience with Droids. Where can I get a Storage Control Device for recharching it (the game says that I need one!)? Thanks in advance!

Stefan Hess You actually just need a droid battery. Make sure the battery is in your main inventory (not a backpack) and open the radial menu on your droid. You should see the Recharge option.

Can someone explain me what are the differences between EMU and original SWG before it died? I bought SWG with all DLCs like 5 months before it died so.. yeah, unlucky me. I loved this game and I'd gladly play again, but when I tried EMU few years ago it was rather raw, unpolish, there was no much to it, no quests, no tutorial, some restrictions on wearing armor etc. What changed? Can anyone introduce me to current SWG EMU?

ThunderEwokB Pre-NGE SWG doesn't have quests. It's a sandbox MMO. That means there is no goal, no objective, no real end-game. It's up to the player to create their own fun, just like you would in an actual sandbox. There *are* several "themeparks," in the game, which are essentially quest-chains you do for NPCs, but even those are simple fetch-quests; nothing at all like what you'd find in SWTOR or WoW. As for the armor restrictions... not in this version. The only type of armor that is profession-restricted in Mandalorian armor which can only be worn by Master Bounty Hunters, Commandos, Rangers, and Squad Leaders. If you were having trouble equipping armor due to "lack of secondary stats," it is due to the heavy encumbrance of the armor. I suggest watching my SWGEmu Episode 13, "Buffs and Armor," for a more complete picture of what was going on. Pre-CU SWG is not for everyone. There is no hand-holding like modern MMOs, and you certainly need to use your imagination and play with others to really get the most out of it.

Mobyus1 I used to play original SWG, I though it's somewhat recreated on EMU. I really miss that game :/ TOR (imo) is shit compared to SWG, the only thing I like in TOR is the voice acting. And I also tried WoW, it was boring for me. I might try The Repopulation, seems like a SWG clone.

ThunderEwokB Well, SWGEmu has made TONS of progress in the past 2.5 years. If it's been a while since you tried it, I'd give it a shot again. It's much closer to Pre-CU SWG now than it's ever been.
