1. Open the call (hello/ company name/ your name/ how may I help you) 2. Empathize/ apologize/assurance (I'm sorry to hear that) 3. Confirm the customer's account (Unless they don't have an account with the company) 4. Probe or ask relevant questions (Confirm information) 5. Solve the problem or answer the question. 6. Offer additional assistance (may I help you with something else/ is there anything else that I can help you today?) 7. Close the call (thank you for calling/ company name/ have a nice day)

I luckily passed my initial interview and got hired right away after passing the mock call. The interviewer told me that I need to pass two exams for referencing and to do a training virtually. I really need to get this job and I am so blessed to see your video! This is definitely will help me for my exams and training. Hope I'll become a regular employee! Thank you so much for this guide!

I was like you back then.Last year i tried to apply on 3 bpo company and i failed..Someone my tenured friend told me that you need confidence even though you are nervous but you cant show it to them...and make it as short but on point answer..and also dont add fillers like aaaaah uuuhhmmm like that..

I remember when I was to on my early twenty's and had my first experience with users and callers providing them technical assistance and the words customer service were only a that, just a term...an unknown term for me in those days, and I remember that I must've learn on the daily and with practise, and unfortunately I hadn't the opportunity to heard advices on a platform like this, so thanks for giving this magnificent opportunity to young people it's really helpful

Cool video, helpful for job applicants! Pinoy call rep agents just need to STOP saying "thank you for that information ma'am, sir".....ONLY say it when it's needed really - not when after the customer gave his or her name, rep can just say "thank's! let me pull up your account here..." no need to say the long spiel..."thank you for that information......it's very annoying especially when the customer is in a rush (happens to me almost every time I get a pinoy rep/accent, ;-( ...but I always admire the patience and resolving the issue ;-) faking/accent is not important as a native speaker will easily spot or detect when you're not a native speaker, it is RESOLVING the issue that really impresses the customer and makes Pinoy reps great!

It's a long spiel because it takes time to type what you've just said and also computer loads up.

back in 2006, when I worked as a CSR as much as I don't want to tell those things it's actually part of the spiels and it also help to avoid dead air while pulling up a customer account, you see CSR's are monitored by the quality assurance to verify if the call was perfect, no dead air, fewer filers, hold time etc. ( the call that was evaluated is scored and agents can benefit from it such as bonuses ).

You nailed it! I often wonder why a Pinoy rep would say thank you each time I respond to a question. I don’t resent the politeness. It’s cute and refreshing, but time is of the essence. The extra spiels only slows down the process.

In my head I remind the 7 steps abbreviated as OEAACPSOC Pronounced as O-E-A-AC-P-SOC O as in Oscar E as in Echo A as in Alpha AC as in Accuracy P as in Peace SOC the C must sound K so its SOK OEAACPSOC is my way of abbreviating the 7 steps... O-open the call E-emphatize or A-apologize or A-assure C-confirm account P-probing S-solving or answering questions O-offer assistance C-closing the call... Your video made me memorize it easier thank you and continue growing! Edt. I added C after the e-a-a

I had been watching you then stopped when i got hired. Honestly your mock calls have helped me a lot , if you could just hear my calls you'll have the sense that yeah he's been watching me. Anyways just looking back where i was , thanks. To those aspirant please never be overwhelmed by the notion that you need to have a perfect english or what so ever. Americans do commit lapses so do we. Infact we are more conscious of not commiting one than them. Faked it i made it. You do the same, youll get through it.

Hmnn... just accidentally got here... your mock is pretty much good for a mock call most specially for newbies. But in reality, if you're in the prod, probing is very essential for you to be able to fully understand the issue and make the proper resolutions specially if you are a tech support. Well, it depends upon the company's call flow though... But i really like this mock call, simple yet precise... Good for newbies...😊
