Serendipitous1. Just as you say, there is a cruel story we all know about the extremities of killing homeless people, familiarity takes the shock away doesn't it, makes one less inclined to object. It may not have been that funny, but I'm not sure it's very far from the truth. I cannot, for the life of me, understand how anyone can be a right-winger without having a thoroughly-rotten soul. Not saying all leftists are good people - far from it - but to be a rightist you HAVE to be evil otherwise it really makes no sense. Leftists may not all live by their morals but there is NO morality whatsoever in being right-wing.
