Those roads look fantastic (unlike here in the uk where we suffer from pothole hell !). Great session setting you up well for IM Florida

What nutrition bag do you have on your bike??? Great video btw and perfect motivation for me with my first 70.3 5 weeks away
@FreestyleTri3 жыл бұрын
We both are lucky and have nutrition boxes built into our bikes! There are some great top tube bags on the market though. Good luck out there!

after you hose down your bike like that is there anything special you have to do other than let it dry and then apply some chain lube ? You videos are awesome by the way!! I love the content you guys put up! Keep up the good work!

What wheels are those on the Felt please? I have the same bike and like that carbon pattern!
@FreestyleTri3 жыл бұрын
They're Red Crown Cycling wheels-bought them before I even got the bike and was so glad they matched!

How do you like the alpha fly?
@FreestyleTri3 жыл бұрын
they're definitely fast, but I only use them for special occasions. my toes get wrecked. i've heard others experience ankle problems from overuse ... but if you only break them out for races etc. totally worth it

Can you pls tell us about your nutrition plan for the race? Im planning to do my first ever 70.3 in 3 months and would love some tips/insight
@FreestyleTri3 жыл бұрын
Everyone is different, but usually I (Jenna) consume 200ish cals/hr + 24oz water/hr on the bike and about half the calories/hr on the run. It depends on your individual needs though. Here's a great article from our coach about 70.3 fueling: www.workingtriathlete.com/articles/2019/3/17/triathlon-nutrition-planning-for-training-and-racing-ironman-and-703
