@@data_corrupted oh i've watched a letsplay! i've seen a few people say it was underwhelming, but frankly i found it very refreshing to have a horror-type game that was simply fucked up and existentially creepy, instead of the contrived brightly-coloured slop that gets popular these days just cuz it's designed to get the attention of internet theorizers. nice to get back to the roots of first-person scifi horror, like prey from back in 2006

Even how freaky and gory this is, it still feels vanilla-adjacent. From the artstyle to the mechanics to the gameplay, it’s fantastical yet grounded in vanilla MC. It feels like an addition/extension to core minecraft gameplay.

I have played Minecraft for years upon years... I have looked at mods for most of those years... And played with them for many… I have seen Horrors through mods, from jump-scares to psychological to thriller… I have never felt uneasy, squeamish, or otherwise perturbed to the point of nausea… …Until I watched this video. This is the first time *ever* something in Minecraft has made me feel so unnerved that I actually had to leave my computer for a few minutes in order to let my stomach settle. Good job!

One of the ideas I wish minecraft explored with more was stuff like this and infections/biomes stuff that spread (like the sculk). This also reminds me a lot of the crimson from terraria so that's another bonus. Awesome work, look forward to see what's next!

FINALLY. A mod in which I CAN BE THE PARASITIC ABOMINATION. Finally a magic mod wich really gives true mutation / necromancy vibes ! You can't imagine how long I waited for such a mod. And it seems extremly well done ! Great interface design that truly gives an atmosphere, AWESOME bloc animations that let us feel the things are actually *alive*... the deep villager sound it made, makes me wish you could infect villagers with something and they would slowly dissolve and turn into these... "tools" like chests satchels etc... This mod looks like it's coming along beautifully so far. Biomancy is so cool and such an unexplored concept! So far this seems really fleshed out and interactive, I love it! Putting this in my mods folder for every world after this gets realeased! If I could ask for one thing, could we pleaase get more decorative blocks, these textures are beautiful and the builds I could make with them are already swirling around in my head. The crafting system you have to make these blocks is so incredible and no doubt you could expand upon it. Also... Maybe we could dabble in a little bit of necromancy? Jk jk... Unless..? Good luck with this mod. So far this looks, INCREDIBLE

Ohhhh, this looks amazing! I love this aesthetic so much, and its so underused! If you're taking any suggestions... I see you've got a creep/taint thing going on with some of your "machines"... It'd be awesome to have some kind of way to literally "grow" a base, or series of rooms? Giving nutrients to a creature and having it grow into a series of chambers in the soil, or a towering. Tower.
