Great info! I immediately jumped on a cheap PS4 Pro once the new jailbreak came out, and I'm quite happy with the experience. Other than having to re-do it when I've lost power it's been super stable and well worth the time. Sounds like the PS5 isn't there yet, and hopefully in the next year we'll have something with a higher firmware, which could fix a lot of these issues.

I digress. The whole point of having a jailbreakable firmware is purely financial. I would rather spend 10k on a gaming Pc than spend 8K on hardware and 2k for games that I can anyway Torrent. Same with ps5. Sony sells at a loss and makes up with every purchase you make. Here's the deal : Pay extra for something useful - gaming Pc vs. Paying less for a console and modding it for the same gameplay experience, if not better - Remember : Same $500 hardware back in the launch days of ps5 was inferior in performance due to the fact that Sony is basically selling historically like Microsoft consoles at a loss. It's a well known strategy. Gillete the guy who invented razor blades that only fit his handle sold it heavily overpriced but compared to the competition his blades were cheaper and having them custom made to only fit his handle compelled you to try them out at least once. Many never looked back and their wallets agreed. Touché.

I don’t feel bad modding and saving games for older consoles like the Wii, Wii U, PSP, 3DS and borderline the PS3 and 360 since all those consoles can’t be used online anymore and people like to get greedy on second-hand markets for games that are not worth $60-over$100. For currently supported consoles, I’d rather just pay the price (or wait for a sale) and get everything legit since in some cases that’s easier than pirating.

@Modded Warfare you should mention for the benefits of every PS5 JB owners (at least in 4.03 Firmware) that it is truly important BEFORE starting the EtaHen Process online that it is SUPER IMPORTANT to have maximum connection (not downloading a movie or watching streaming) AND NOT HAVING A USB DEVICE CONNECTED TO THE PS5 BEFORE DOING THE ETAHEN process. ....people , connect your USB HDD/SSD AFTER having enabled the EtaHen , otherwise you will have a message of not enough memory....

Devs still support last gen and new gen atleast the first 2-3 years of new gen. Just like ps3-ps4 era. But, man even then ps3 and ps4 had their own gen of games. What makes me agree with Jailbreak is because Mods and Patch unlock the FPS of the game I love. I really don't understand Sony, they are lazy, not updating the next gen patch for ps5. I feel like a loss for not using the performance of the Ps5. Sony is becoming more like Apple every day. I'm crying.

WHEN I GOT MY FIRST PS5 IT WAS A SLIM BUNDLE WITH SPIDER MAN 2, I HAD TO UPDATE THE SYSTEM TO "REGISTER" THE DISC DRIVE AND TO REDEEM THE GAME CODE. IT WAS ON 7.20 OUT OF THE BOX, BUT WAS UPDATED TO 9.40, AND SINCE HAS BEEN UPDATED TO 9.60. This is a good video might come back to it if I need a PS5 in the future. Don't own a PS5 no reason to get one still. I'm still using my SNES,Sega Genesis,N64,GameCube,GB,GBC,GBA,Wii,DS,PS1,PS2,PS3,PS4,PSP,PS Vita,PC to avoid buying older games on newer consoles unless the price is worth it and the quality is good enough to me. There is maybe 4 games at most I would get physically for the PS5?? Hope Darksiders 4 will have a physical PS4 release so I can have it with the other 3 games together on the shelf for one console don't like all this console hoping with ongoing series of game's becomes aggravating.

I always wanted to jailbreak my PS4 (the firmware is two hundredth too high for possible new jailbreak)/PS5 (way too far gone lmao) for Bloodborne at 1080p60fps, but not having access to internet, thus no access to online Chalice Dungeon will hamper my optimal routing. Other than that, jailbroken PS5 is just PS4 Ti Super Pro, which would be very nice to me.
