A lot of the reviews I've seen of the GMMK Pro always seem to just sweep the knob under the rug like some kind of gimmick. But that knob is one of the biggest reasons I and quite a few of my friends want the GMMK Pro. It's very difficult to find a decent quality barebones keyboard, with a knob, at this price point Edit: The production quality of this video is absolutely insane

@@prospectre9848 he’s judging it base on his knowledge...because he alway use high end stuffs, his standard will alway be high. And the truth, his skills and his knowledge were right. Gmnk pro still have those flaws, users keep complaining about this keyboard over the internet. And that’s why myself also hesitate picking this one up. I don’t want a premium board that worse than you build it yourself with after market parts. Specially, keychron q1 did fix most of the issues gmnk still have to deal with. If gmnk didn’t have a knot or keychron also have a knot...we literally seeing a winner right here, right now.

For those who are unsure what the Nolives switches are, they are basically recolors of NK Creams for a past Group Buy of GMK Olive, with a respective color scheme. You can say he used Creams for the sound tests

Best keyboard review I’ve ever watched. The attention to detail, such as the angle of the daughter board or the compatibility of 3rd party stabs, are things that set this review above the rest. On this particular product however, I would have wished to have seen a type test with a brass plate and maybe the implications of a daughter board such as this for people who are willing to take it a step further in tweaking. Like can I potentially make this wireless? Or is that just wishful thinking? 👀

I agree, its a great start for what it is. I've gotten the Keychron k6 myself due to there being a VERY limited amount of keyboards that fit my criterias (Nordic layout, Bluetooth and 65% with a decent battery life and hotswap pcb). But absolutely go for it.

Over about 2-3 years hunting for a layout like the Satisfaction 75 without paying an arm and a leg, I'm so glad I waited for this. Grabbed Zealio v2s along with my first batch and now I just wait with excitement. Got too lazy trying to find a perfect keycap thats not on a wait list so I picked up whatever they were offering but aside from that, this thing is perfect.

Really good video. Made me like and subscribe. I recently dipped my toes into the custom keyboard world. Got myself a GMMK Full with Gateron Red switches and the Glorious Aura pudding keycaps. Bought a 3rd party lubing kit and lubed the switches. I'm in love with the way this keyboard sounds and feels. Definitely a gateway into the custom keyboard world for me.

I enjoyed the review, you covered every aspect of keyboard i was wondering about that GMMK didn't cover in theri twitch reveal streams as the product was arriving at their warehouse. I'm glad to hear how overall well built this keyboard is as several keyboard makers out there charge a very large amount of cash for their keyboards. I understand the artistry and design aspect assembling a keyboard as I've finally put one together myself from KBDFans, using Zeal switches and stabilizers per Taeha Types recommendations. So having a keyboard that will me to hot swap new switches as easily as key caps is great. i'm on the flex batch so i won't get mine until later.

Very good video, i was debating on getting this keyboard as several of my friends just purchased it. I am not a fan of the rotary knob however, and i think i might get something else. Good review, good features overview and breakdown.

Check out the Keychron Q1 (it has versions without or with the knob). It’s actually an excellent 75% kit option if you don’t want the GMMK Pro. I’ve ordered one in blue with the knob even though I already have a GMMK Pro. It’s nice to experiment

Found this channel from kristopher yees channel. MAN, that is a fantastic opening sequence! That is awesome work whoever did that. Now on the review, this seems like a good place to start for me as a newb to custom mechanicals. My only issue is how do I find a switch I like? My only experience is old ibm style boards, cheap dell boards, a steelseries from a few years ago and my current Razer Ornata Chroma. I like the tactile feel of mechanicals but despise the razers clickinesss.
