This is probably the first and only time where I call someone an NPC as a compliment. Like, the way that this man patiently waits to get his outfit and then poses as if he is in some idle animation really brings these different characters throughout history to life. Props to him and his effortless grace.

In the meantime, the 50s was the decade of "cool" when jazz and pops music a la Chet Baker and Miles Davis went chill, college kids made the scene at the coffee house wearing black slacks with pullover black tops and the occasional black beret. In England, the Mod boys laughed at the greasers pictured here and showed up at their gang rumbles looking like Sinatra about to do a set. "100 Years of Fashion" REALLY goofed with the 1955 segment.

Bad4You No, in the 1980s, did you not see what men wore? Personally one of my favorite decades, so much free expression without judgement.

I've seen the female version of the fashion through the decades, so this was great to find and see how they compared and / or may have been complimentary to the women's. Great job. And that's one "sharp dressed man"! 🎶I thought he looked great in all the fashions. 👍

I mean, the change between the 1940's and 1950's is pretty goddamn extreme isn't it.

That’s because the 1950s was when youth culture exploded. With the war over and people having money to spend and places to go, teenagers were able to develop their own style and culture for the first time versus before when the term teenager didn’t exist and you were seen as a mini adult.

Nobody really dressed like that, though. That’s just what people think they wore. Or what James Dean wore in 1 movie.

Still a fire outfit today? Excuse me? Like most people are just going around wearing retro antique leather biker jackets, and with oil based pomade in their hair, with a button up shirt buttoned down to the third button, sometimes with a white shirt instead of bare chest? XD
