That definitely was a mighty rough looking op session

Hi I'm really new to model railroading but I love it just starting I'm wondering how do you couple and uncouple the cars the way that you're doing I would really like to know how that is done thank you
@DIYDigitalRailroad4 жыл бұрын
I actually do that through the magic of video editing, but typically I use a bamboo skewer to uncouple them. I just push it in between the couplers and it will uncouple them.

Hey Jimmy! Looks like it's time for the RR maintenance crew to trim a few limbs back. Really cool ops session. Do you come up with everything in your head on the fly as to what your dropping off and picking up or are you using a car card/waybill system? Also let me know if your going to make some of those tanks in HO. I could use those for my engine facilities for diesel refueling. Thanks! - Jason

What's up. I love your model railroad videos. These are all ho scale stuff you got, right? Do you come up with these operations?
@DIYDigitalRailroad2 жыл бұрын
This is actually N Scale! Yes I design the operations.

Jimmy, I purchased some of your buildings. They are great. Do I need to use primer on them before I paint? I have never had 3D printed buildings before and one seemed a little sticky (tacky) but I wasn’t sure what to do. Didn’t know where to write so I just added my comment here. I enjoyed the switching operations.
@DIYDigitalRailroad4 жыл бұрын
Hey Frank! Thank you for your purchase. I actually pre prime the buildings. So if they were stored in the heat. They may have gotten a bit tacky.

Curious if you have some automatic uncoupling system or you just editing out when you manually uncouple?
@SirLANsalot4 жыл бұрын
just useful editing, you can see the trees get bumped between edits (and a car derail).

HO too finicky and small for me. Hate how they derail or jump the track so often. Everything has to be PERFECT. can't even understand N scale lol great video though!!
