I like you very much so you do a good job I’ve been collecting Trainsfor over 41 years I have several several engines several several cars actually have never really done a layout just been collecting the stack of them away I’m hoping that your videos will help me out a lot I have watched several of them and I’m happy with what I see keep up the good work thank you

You should use foam on top of the plywood so you can do rivers and hills

I didn't know the term ballast (as in heavy material to stabilise a ship) was also used for the gravel that forms the bed of the railway track, very much for the same reason, it seems.
