Well you get all the wood in a model kit and i would start with a smaller and simple kit if you were thinking of building one. Your local hobby shop should have some , and the hobby shops sometimes keep extra planking wood

No demonstrations on how to measure, shape, cut, bend, and attach the planks. Did not learn a thing.

Yes, this is for me, one has to learn from the absolute basics. Else it going g to be a fail
