I am really a big fan of these chunk sized tutorials where you can just sit down, open up blender and follow along and maybe come out of it with few extra tools in your modeling arsenal. Maybe there could be some models that showcase really tricky yet common situations / shapes, forms in the model and how you would approach them optimally with the tools available.

More tutorials like these please! I don't have much inspiration for modeling, but tutorials like these helps keep me in check and improve my skills. I wouldn't even mind tutorials covering random objects like buildings or hoverboards lol. More the better!

I've been away from blender for several months now (it's on the backburner while I learn something else, and once I've got the foundations of that I'll return to Blender), but your tutorials are really making me miss modeling. Anyway, thanks for helping to keep the flame alive.

Beginner here just trying to understand some steps. I don't understand what all the complex operations were for in the first 5 minutes, if you were just going to make that object into a cube. Wouldn't it have been easier to either extrude and separate selection, or just add mesh->cube and be done with it? Thanks for these modeling videos, they have been incredible for teaching me a proper workflow where I struggled before.

Very cool! Question about Decal Machine...does it add actual geometry? (or the ability to do so?) A lot of what I do has to be printed.

Ryuu... love you, man. And I love that you push these tutorials out continually. But, it's not a step by step, per se. You even say at 0:53 that you won't be explaining everything. So... I'm lost the minute you started cutting. What tool are you using, how are you doing it etc.? And is this a Hardops tute? Should that be listed in the video title?

I love these videos but yes sometimes I have to rewatch a part many times to see exactly what is happening. I much prefer doing that at the parts I am learning something new than every step being explained just for the time efficency. You have already the narration, watching what is happening on screen, the text for what buttons are pressed, so if you have blender open you can make a similar example and figure it out, repeat it a few times and try to remember the next time you organically could use the same thing when modeling.
@PonteRyuurui Жыл бұрын

Hy Ponte, i've a problem with the operation of minute 26:04. When i duplicate the edge of the cutter, in my case when I copy and extrude the edge a new cutter is not created but a two-dimensional rectangle remains. I followed exactly the previous operations, in your opinion where am I wrong?
@francescofarinato1759 Жыл бұрын
sorry I discovered the error, you say to copy the edge but instead I have to copy the face and everything works. Thank you
