Chris isn't evil or super strict. If you are on a show titled "Ink Master" you have to step up and show that you have Master quality especially if you are doing one of Chris's known styles like Japanese or more specifically, Koi. If I am the host of a network television show that is offering you $100,000 USD & millions of new clients from around the world, you can bet your ass that I'm going to put you through hell because people are going to compare your successes and/or failures directly to me and anyone else "running" the show. I'd we let a shitty artist through that can't do 100% constantly straight lines with zero blowouts, no hokidats,, etc., people are going to question the validity of the show and if it even has any merits to begin with.
