Can we calculate the RPM of primary using the CVT ratio
@marcoslealporto4 жыл бұрын
Good evening, Ive been adapting your model to fit my teams baja project. In our car, the cvt comes directly after the engine, and when i try to swap the gearbox and cvt position to match it, the simulation stops working. Other changes that I did to the model showed no problems at all, so Im kinda lost. Can you guys help me? Thanks in advance, and great video!

Hello Marco, Thanks for checking the model. We can definitely help you. In your case, you need to tune the model a bit. I would suggest you to share more details and the models on racinglounge@mathworks.com via email. We will have a look and help you tune the model. Thanks, Veer MathWorks

@@marcoslealporto Hey Marcus, can I send you a private message? I am a member of a BAJA SAE team too, and I have some doubts about the inertia on CVT

Hi, can you share the closed loop CVT model?
@jayshah9004 жыл бұрын
sir, CVT is directly conected to Engine right? but you have connected GB before CVT
@alakshendraveer4 жыл бұрын
Hi Jay. Yeah, you are can do that. In fact you can remove the GB and place it after the CVT as you see in actual BAJA vehicles. Try that and reach out to us at racinglounge@mathworks.com if you face any issues.
