For the extruded piping you can connect your splines with Cross Section under the spline object tools first to create quads and drop an edit poly on that. Saves you connecting vertices.

Why Create Shape is not physically attached to the pillow? I can attach it and make it move together but when I simulate it just falls off.

Super useful videos. Maya and 3ds max are great, but a lot of us don't have the budget to afford them. Do you have any plans to make blender tutorials?

I'm pretty sure there are plenty of great Blender channels out there, sadly my blender experience is very low and i really wouldn't be the guy to make tutorials for stuff i don't know the ins and outs of.
