Regarding public punishment. Surah Nur ayah : 2 "The [unmarried] woman or [unmarried] man found guilty of sexual intercourse - lash each one of them with a hundred lashes, and do not be taken by pity for them in the religion of Allah, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a group of the believers witness their punishment." So here a certain group will witness the punishment. So consider this scenario, public punishment but in a certain location with a certain age group only.

True but I agree with Shaveer about the kids part because if I was a kid and I saw something like that I would be scarred for life because different kids have different mental strengths not every kid is a strong kid. Letting some adults witness it is better. And of course before anyone is hanged to death just like that they need to find true evidence and witnesses because sometimes people are wrongly accused as well.

Tgese violent laws dont promote violence but they prevent from social evils and violence. In saudi arabia people can leave their shops open and empty woth no fear of theft because their law is strong .

One other thing that we should learn from the West is to let our children be more independant. Here in Pakistan, parents do everything for their children and turn them into mummy-daddy bachay (lol). Parents should let their children figure out life and learn to do things on their own and not depend on their parents forever. Basically, maan baap pe boj na bano yaar, apne aap ko khud paalo.

I relate to champion a lot. Just to give a bit of context, I came to Canada when I was 3 and spent about 10 years until we moved back to Pakistan for my O and A levels. A lot of my external family comes from the village and contained the same mentality. It was ridiculous seeing women tied to their homes and denied freedom unlike the men. I was told that “if you were to follow the real Islam, you wouldn’t have dared step out of the house”. It boiled my blood to see women being slapped or beat up by men and then see other women slander them. It was frustrating and it astonishes me that people like champion exist amid this toxic culture.

I think bringing "acceptance" is not the best choice for bringing something from the West to the East/our country, I think bringing their education system (not that any country has a perfect education system but still theirs is better than ours) bringing their education system such as the education system in Finland is ultimately able to solve the "acceptance" issue because our education system is so effd up, they don't bring out the talents and geniuses in our children they suppress them into becoming well just like people are now a days and it is the teachers and it is the people we spend 12 years of our life with that make us the people we are so I believe that having a good teaching and schooling system has the ability to make our minds more expanded and remove extremism and help in the development of our country.

Love your show. Just to add to your knowledge, Anwar Retol is a mango which has a history to it. In India, before partition, there was a village named Retol. The owner of that village was one of the Muslim Fareedis peer, very renowned and respected. He had huge mango gardens. Over there he crossed different mangoes and created this new delicious, very sweet and fragrant mangoes. He also loved his wife whose name was Anwar. So he named his beautiful creation of mangoes as Anwar Retol, giving credit to the 2 most dear things to him.

Anwar Ratol was first cultivated near Rataul, a village in Uttar Pradesh. Sheikh Mohd Afaq Faridi, a Muslim farmer returned to the village after completing his inter college in 1905, he noticed a young mango tree near one of the farms. He asked a gardener to graft the plant, and in a year’s time, four mango trees sprouted. Years later, Afaq Faridi resigned from his job and devoted his life to this ‘sweet mission’. After his marriage, he set up a mango nursery that he called Shohra-e-afaq in 1928 and got it registered in 1935. He named this mango variety Anwar Rataul, now popularly known simply as the Rataul mango.[1] In 1947, someone took sample plants to Pakistan and planted this mango breed in the Multan region.
