40:15 there was British soldier in 1830s called George Everest who was making maps and he was the first the first person to make the map of Himalayas and measure the height of the some mountains. But Everest finished his work in 1843 and he never saw Chomolungma(Mountain Everest called by Tibet people before the name) The first British man to see the mountain was Everest's friend Andrew waugh. In 1852 Radhanath Sikhdar, the man who worked for Waugh said he had discovered the highest mountain in the world. it was measured carefully many times and in 1856 was said that this was the highest mountain in the world he gave it the name of his old friend George Everest in 1865.
