it has that one powerful line that resonates with everybody. "i'd still pick my friends over you." and that's a very important life lesson. number 1, dont make your person choose. number 2, if you like a person, but hate their friends, it is better for you to exit the situation than it is to try to change their social life. and number 3, the big one, if somebody is trying to take you away from your friends, that's abuse. the abuser absolutely has to take the abuse victim away from their support group in order to properly abuse them. your friends are your support group. never choose somebody over your support group. you should always choose your friends over your person. and sure, the song clearly states that she did nothing wrong. he just wasnt interested anymore. he has his own problems to work out and he knows it. but that one line holds power. now that i'm older i know the real reason this relationship didnt work is because he was too young (mentally speaking.) and he knows it.

@@psychopompous3207 i've been mostly listening to local talent around my area. weird, i know, but there's some surprisingly talented people out there who will probably never be noticed. this one dude i found named Levi Rogers, for example: i met him at one of his recent shows and he's a phenomenal musician. does all the recordings himself (all instruments), and does his live performances with just an acoustic guitar. idk, i just really respect real musicians, but the modern airwaves are polluted with trash. anyway, you should check him out. www.reverbnation.com/levi_rogers let me know is he really that good or am i just delusional? lol
