Apart from the cave itself what I love is this guy did it himself without a high flying job or rich parents. He just waited until he had cash for a section. Step by step he’s grown a beautiful cool environment. One of my favourite stories.

Mhh..nahh. If you live really Independently, don't pay taxes and just eat your own food...OK. But I'm part of a society, part of problems and solutions. I want to know what the government is doing, vote, know what happens. If i'd go to work and pay taxes, but don't care what Government and NGOs do with my money, I'd give up my democratic rights and would not be able to have an opinion or make responsible decisions. Even if the parties I vote are opposition...Opposition is part of the parliament in the country I live. In my opinion to much consuming the news is poisonous and you should be able to think twice about the news and get your opinion from different sources. But just reading suspicious forums just leads to believing in weird conspiracy theories and stuff like this. ^^ The live of this guy here seems great, living truely independend just works if you are not hit by any heavy health issue or natural disaster...in that case, you better be part of society. I see the pros and cons, but can't be too romantic about that.

It’s.whole lot of work. I’m older, so I can appreciate the effort, time and hard work it took to get what he now has. If your idea of heaven is to live like this, you have the work ethic, the health and the stamina in addition to the knowledge it takes to grow different crops, breed animals, cook, can and preserve food, treat, slaughter and butcher your livestock and do the required maintenance in the property, this indeed could be heaven. I don’t know how or even if, he does everything with just two people. If I was considering this life, I would like to have a sort of apprenticeship for enough time to know if this is the lifestyle I wanted and could handle. That way I would know what was involved and what it takes to make a successful venture.

It's absolutely amazing. I'd live in a place like that in a heartbeat. Beautiful, peaceful, serene. The open sky is where I'd be every night of my life. Mother earth, the creator and me.

Man what I would give to live in a cave far away from civilization. I wouldn’t even need to turn on a tv I could just farm and look at the stars and have no worries.

It's a lot of work... Believe me it's not for everyone... Bed early and rise early.... Work all day... Maybe an hr to chill... But I wouldn't trade it for anything

@@randomstuffchannel6261 I 100% agree with you. I moved from a nice new 2400 sq.ft. home in the city to a 1700 sq.ft. house built 40 years ago out in the country that needed some work. I used to dread mowing the front yard that only took me less than 30 mins. Now it takes me 4 days to mow my 5 acre parcel and I don't mind it one bit. A small price to pay for the peace and quiet of the countryside. I will probably never move back to the city. After watching this video, I'm already looking at property in Southern Utah to retire. LOL!

Wow. It's truly amazing when you think about the fact that this wonderful dwelling exists solely due to one man's incredibly creative vision, and lots of hard work. It's quite impressive. 🖒🖒💕

I have a small 700 year old cave villa with rooms carved into a mountain 🏔 side, with a terraced garden 🌸🌼 facing an ancient castle 🏰 in a small village in Cappadocia Turkey 🇹🇷 Most of rooms have a small private pool 🏊♀️ , fire 🔥 place, and beds 🛏 carved from the rock in the caves. (I’m very proud 😊) Im an American who traveled the world, and found my dream home in the process. I would love ❤️ to have my home on your channel.

I'd like to see it, and hear about the process. In the process of building a home, the home builds you so that story would be interesting as well.

I love having Independence like this. I built off grid 30 years ago my brother and I are finishing up a quarter mile run way behind my house so we can park his airplane. It's great to be free. The Bible says "come out of her my people", you don't have to believe in God to dig that message.
