There are some pretty competitive lists that run a mono-white version of the deck with no Aether Vials (check out the list featured recently on Nikachu's KZbin Channel for instance). Might be nice to mention, as those lists would be much easier to upgrade to from the budget version of the deck you are showing.

People forget about D&T because it’s not particularly good in the meta rn, but it’s still a deck that’s never going to go away. I’d love to see a budget 8-Rack, maybe trying out the card Blackmail instead of LOTV! Not a tier one deck anymore really, but still good

People call it poop bears for a reason. The cards in it are individually quite weak. Its part prison deck, part value town deck, and it just unfortunately cannot compete in a format where you can die on turn three to Tron, Storm, Titan shift, Through the breach, etc etc etc.

personally for me, the appeal of the deck is the fact that the cards in it individually are quite weak. Like the idea of arguably the worse mono colour being competitive. Understandbly the recent developments see the need to splash black and colourless, lucky i'm a Orzhov fan :p

I feel like Tron and Dredge are hot now. I can't decide whether I want to buy into Tron or d&t so can't wait for it. This series is awesome and really helpful to new players like me

This is an awesome deck tech! The Eldrazi call to my heart, so I have to ask: is there any chance for a Budget type video for R/G Eldrazi or Eldrazi Tron?

Maybe? They are both harder deck to build on a budget BUT I can try. Would likely be a 3 step upgrade.

@@GiantMonsterGames That's what I thought, but hope springs eternal. I've been looking the R/G decklist over a lot recently to see if there's a chance, but I know there are large parts of it that are difficult to work around strategy wise (the Eldrazi package, the manabase, etc.) If it's not feasible, that's completely fair. the input on the prospect is appreciated all the same!
