Not one time did you act like what he was telling you was bullshit. Thank you for posting this. You are a rarity as an instructor with decades of experience and still have the humility to be a student in someone else's class. Much Respect. The first pistol course I ever took was Fighting Pistol and I still think it's one of the best 2-day firearms courses a person could take. The most recent course(s) was Scott's Appendix Carry class followed by his Red Dot class when he came to California. Even though your methodologies differ, you've both created strong programs based on experience, logic, and strong teaching principles. It's been a pleasure learning from both of ya'll. Looking forward to take further classes in the future.

Where I disagree is when Scott says that if you can earn his master patch that you need to teach. Ability to shoot doesn't imply ability to teach. Teaching is a skill as well. Most "firearm instructors" haven't earned the title with having a methods of instructor course beforehand or had a simple class like NRA civilian instructor courses. I do enjoy his style and methodology and will be taking one of his classes soon.
