This game was so balanced. You could try hard for K/D, play support, or play for gun kills and MOABs with specialist. Almost any AR or SMG was viable. Shotguns ruled (striker pre-nerf was INSANE). Didn’t snipe much because i liked kill confirm which was usually fast paced

The thing about specialist is for me it encouraged me to play at a faster pace...with all those perks you felt like a superhero so why not and no killstreaks to think about to slow you down...sure you might die ocasially but just made it fun to run and gun and not take the game to seriously.

Modern Warfare 3 was the first COD game I bought DLC for and I loved how it added monthly new content and how it added A LOT Of new content that all was original content. Only one remake, Terminal, which was free for everyone. It was a more balanced and more fleshed out MW2. Still my most played COD lol.

My favorite CoD. Bot Warfare is amazing for this game (and MW2) as the bots aren't on crack like BO1 and Ghosts. I also made a Weapon Patch mod that gets rid of the randomized gun kick values for certain weapons and replaces then with the traditional ones, while bringing miscellaneous changes to other weapons. I’m happy the Plutonium community for supporting my mod, especially for this game and BO1 as they have over 500 downloads…

I have a PC with plutonium and bot warfare installed for all the old cod games, along with all the other mods I like. Someone made a lanlauncher for plutonium, so can launch it and play with 0 internet connection. I have a few backups for everything so should be set for life. I started out on mw3. I still remember when I could barely get like 7 kills a match when I first started lol. by the time I left, I was able to get 40+ kills in tdm almost every single time and don't even get me started on domination. survival mode sharpened me well. definitely my favorite cod.

tdm, infected you can get lobbies pretty consistently. occasional ffa, and rarely a groundwar or dropzone lobby. tdm is best bet for regular game modes. i loved mw3 domination i wish people played it

Mw3 is still my all time favorite Call of duty, mainly because of the support juggernauts built in portable radar. When I had that on I would be glad to come across courner campers because I would see them on my radar and go up to them in my riot shield. That was probably my only time liking people sitting in corners because then they would have to leave knowing I was coming with that thing. Also people I used to play mw3 with called the pp90 the squirms gun. Also the survival mode on mw3 was also very fun. I miss that game a lot, it's reply among my most memorable games. To me they ruined the juggernaut after mw3... to me it's still my all time favorite kill/support streak.

You can also get points towards the MOAB by destroying enemy killstreaks or care package choppers. Having said that... This brings back some memories. My funniest MOAB by far was in drop zone in Terminal. Originally I just decided to be a menace and shoot enemy streaks down with extented mag Blind eye pro lmg and stinger. I got like 11 player kills by solely focusing on that but l shot down so many enemy choppers and killstreaks that l got the MOAB that way. Didnt even know that was possible before that.

I think MW2-BO2 were the golden years of COD, with BO3 also being good enough to hang with them. I know COD 4 and WaW were good, but they felt very limited due to their class systems and locked 3-5-7 killstreaks.

What an amazing cod , had some steady maps, no majorly overpowered guns there was favoured guns like acr and mp7 but they could still be outgunned by so many others , amazing gun choices in all the different types some amazing smg’s AR’s and snipers, great kill streaks and specialist was so good and the perks having pros that was actually good . TDM is the only mode that is "populated", most are hacked. I kept getting into XP lobbies and ended up at 10th prestige in 10 matches. I don't feel bad about it, I maxed out the legit way on PS3 when the game was current. I play the old games on my Xbone S blu-ray player, the aiming is horrible. I've tried to set up my elite controller through the app, but it just is never feeling right. I found the best setting was the right stick on "delayed".
