Hi Tuuvas, first thing first : thanks for your job, especially your keybinding sheet( it helped me a lot with the F18) I have a question about the vader 3 pro and its M1 to M4 button. According to your keybinding and on the video about the steam controller configuration, you did not use them as modifiers as its meant to be. Do you know a way for it? Cant find anything on steam or, flydigi space thing. Now I try on ReWASD but thats for engineers ;)

You can use the Space Station application to set the M buttons as keyboard keys that are already used as modifiers in DCS. For example, Shift, Alt, and Ctrl. That said, they don't all bind correctly in Flydigi's app, so you'll just have to try it out and work with what's available

Hey Tuuvas! I've been thoroughly enjoying your controller configs, so I thank you for making them man. That being said, I only had one question concerning how you've configured your zoom axis to the triggers. At 11:40 for instance, I see that your zoom input seems to be on a sort of incremental sort of setting. You zoom in with the triggers, let go, and your zoom remains where you set it. I cannot seem to replicate this zoom behavior, as when I zoom in using (left bumper + triggers), the moment I let go of my triggers, it returns to a default zoom level. What do I need to do to solve this, or do you know? Additionally, with respect to the ah-64d, and I suppose helos in general on gamepad, how have you gotten to the point where the aircraft will hold itself still? As you were taking out some of the hostile targets at various points of the video, I watched your controller and saw that at points, you were controlling neither the pedals nor the cyclic, and yet you weren't flipping over and falling out of the sky. This may be a rather elementary question when it comes to helis in DCS, but man it is tough to imagine that even if I were to get a handle on the controls, that I would be able to engage weapons or focus on literally anything other than keeping the bird in the air. Thanks for the configs man and the work you do to make the game more accessible.

Lol appreciate the analysis into the video and the controls I'm using! So to answer your question regarding zoom on triggers, basically I've done away with the in-game Zoom View axis and have instead opted to setup mouse scroll up/down on turbo via Steam. Basically, as long as I'm doing left bumper + full trigger pull, I'll get a repeating scroll up or scroll down. In cursor control mode, this means I can rotate dials. And in camera control mode, I can zoom in and out. Multi-purpose! Regarding helicopter control, it's a combination of understanding how the force trim works in conjunction with autopilot hold modes. This isn't unique to gamepads, but is just a general topic about helicopters as a whole. You should be able to learn plenty about this by following BradMick's Apache tutorials on KZbin!

​@@Tuuvas when I set my trigger on xbox gamepad to mouse scroll on steam and play in game I get it to work but it also control my rudder the same way may I ask how you did it?

@@johnconner123451 You need to setup Mouse Scroll as a "Mode Shift" action. Then use Left Bumper as the mode shift button. This way, you get only mouse scroll and no normal trigger behavior as long as you're holding Left Bumper first. Much like how Right Stick is Mouse Control normally, but then holding left bumper turns it back into a normal thumbstick.

@@angelomammetti1846 I’m actually getting on within the hour. This time you will typically find myself and others on for the most part. But if you know people to invite and fly. More people on the server equals more people consistently on the server. We just need to get that ball rolling

Ah yes we are all a bunch of horrible dicks at spqr 😂. Where did we hurt you ? I can count on 1 hand the amount of people we have had issues with and I think in 3 years I've banned a total of like 10 people from the discord so I dont think we are so bad lol.
