I know! Dude I was so like weirded out when Levi said they were going to be using AI models so they can "show more diversity" . And I'm like or you know you could ACTUALLY HIRE MORE DIVERSE MODELS. I swear they will literally do anything to avoid paying minorities for their work. They want the endorsement of minorities and they want to take minorities money but they don't want to have to give them any money. I'm disgusted. Literally this is the only channel that has talked about it I haven't seen it anywhere else and it's extremely frustrating to me. How crazy is this?? And you know other companies are going to follow and use AI models only they will probably be smart enough to not admit it. It's just so insane to me the lengths companies will go to just so they don't have to hire black models, or curvy models, or Asian models. They will literally do anything other than hire anyone besides a white model size 0.

2022 was by far the year of the comeback. Brendan Fraser, Ke Huy Quan and Michelle Yeoh had all struggled to find acting work in previous decades, though all three finally received Oscars for their captivating performances. I'm so proud of them all.

I mean the list of should be winners is long, but it sucks to see random British films no one’s heard of take up nomination slots. They need to put a box office threshold to the main categories.

@@13realmusic should everything be American..? Obviously have your own opinion but most of the films listed are American. Because the Oscars are on an international level, it makes sense for films outside of the US to be considered, especially if they are being watched by English speakers since that's the main target audience.

The fact that we have so many instance of K-pop idols unknowingly wearing hate symbols shows such a huge issue in Korean society. Like how you gonna be at this grown age and not even now that symbol (and before anyone talks about it’s original origins I know but there’s a difference between the two and it’s quite obvious). S**stikas, confederate flags and rising sun flags should be basic information to someone of that age and that much access to the internet and basic education

In the east the swastika is tied to Hinduism as that’s where it originated from. The swastika being tied to Hitler and white supremacy is something Hitler stole from Hinduism which didn’t mean that. He appropriated that into a symbolism of hate, so it’s not crazy to see people in the east with the swastika brandished as it has an entirely different meaning there.
