why would you do steel frames instead of cement? cheaper? it looks more complicated than cement columns and brick walls

I also work with steel frames, here in Brazil the walls don't come pre-assembled, it takes us a week or more to assemble them and then lift them, I think it must be better to work with since we mostly use glass wool here in Brazil

Watching it from the before the beginning of this house build you both have amazed me by your tenacity on everything you do. Watching the men measuring and remeasuring in the beginning told me he couldn't believe how good you have have done and made their job easier. He was impressed and hope he told you. The respect they also showed by keeping the work area clean. So impressed with your build by the millimeter too. Great job.

Brilliant.I have been waiting too,you have both worked so hard to get this far. And your right Don’t skimp on the framing it’s important that it’s strong,braced correctly and will withstand any weather that can hit it.I know there will be walls around both sides of the metal but this is the spine.I worked in metal for years and it is so important so do your research. One question Pepe did I miss an opening in the interior wall from the hallway to the room with the pit in? .I don’t remember seeing one.The home is going to be a really great size,and you can grow into this over the years.Its going to be amazing when it’s finished I am sure.So excited for you both.🥰
