Modernizing Vintage Fashions Through the Decades: 1930s (With an Epic Hair Fail)

It’s late, but worth the wait! I finally got my 1930s outfit made up. Even if there was a completely epic hair fail halfway through. I hope you all enjoy it despite my struggles! And thank you all for sticking with me in the schedule change. I’m trying to be good about maintaining my mental health and appreciate every single one of you!

I also had not done a wet set in a while and had a fail recently. I used big rollers on the top row and medium and little foam rollers on the rest. Slept in it, everything else dried fine...except the fat ones. Everything was tightly curled and the big ones came out as waves

Ok, I’m in the process of perfecting (haha, more like okaying?) my hair setting process......what does the bonnet do? Just keep it neat? Or does it help it curl? Lol I’m not educated on hair and makeup techniques 🙈. And I have the same docs! I call my style “Art Deco punk” so I’m 100% on board. 😆

Um. I love that style description!!! Usually it helps me set my hair quickly, because it distributes the heat from my hairdryer evenly. But it was just too humid and cold to make this work.
