Love your content! Went with a Dr. Scholl's gel shoe insert for my appendix setup and now I can practically wear my set up endlessly.

Scott, I cannot wait to eventually attend one of your courses. I would be stoked to take any of your courses, but I really want to attend one of your RDS courses. I live in Southern California, about an hour or two east of Los Angeles, so I will find one even if it's with one of your approved instructors in my area. I honestly hear nothing but amazing shit about you and your ability to teach, so I would imagine you have passed that on to the other instructors. Anyway, I picked up one of your Tier 1, Concealment MSP light bearing holsters, for my Sig SP2022. I just received it so I have been spending time trying to figure out the best ride height, wedge size etc, but I think that it's a winner. I have been looking for a light bearing holster for months and the SP2022 isn't exactly the most popular carry gun. When I came across this MSP holster I had to buy it. I have literally had this holster for 48 hours and I can already tell it's going to be my primary EDC holster for years to come. I have been carrying a Glock 26 for sometime, but wanted to jump to a larger handgun, because there's more grip for me to hold onto. Anyway sorry for going on this long tangent, I just wanted to let you know I really appreciate your content and I look forward to attending one of your courses. Take Care, William

I have found many factors including a belt you can adjust in increments vs inches matters as much as the holster and making the holster comfy. And ofcourse carrying a jframe appendix and a Sig P365 is more comfy than a regular sized firearm. EXCELLENT VIDEO AND THANK YOU SIR

Curious question - Does the belt line ride lower for the pistol to sit under the belly? Or is the pistol sitting on top of my belly?

I am a big guy, about your size, and I do find it easier to conceal a larger pistol. Currently, the smallest that I AIWB now is a Beretta 92FS Compact, but I have been carrying my full sized M&P9. I know I can comfortably carry an M9A3 (threaded barrel and all) and conceal it under a tshirt.

Thanks for educating me. You may have already addressed this but what under t shirt do you have on?
@parabellum32056 жыл бұрын
Great vid! What under shirts do you use? I know it may sound like a stupid question... But do you have a specific technique for avoiding grabbing the undershirt during your draw? I wear an Under Armour slick type undershirt, but still every once in awhile I still grab a tiny bit of it along with the cover garment...
@ModernSamuraiProject6 жыл бұрын
Generally a compression Under Armour. The claw grip (thumb on rear sight) alleviates the under shirt issues.
@parabellum32056 жыл бұрын
Modern Samurai Project That's good That's the type of under shirt I use. I don't have an issue of grabbing my undershirt with my firing hand. It's that I occasionally will grab it Through my cover garment with my support hand when I start my draw...

Loved this video sir! At 6'4" and 300 lbs I also suffer from Dunlap's disease. I carry a Glock model 41 and love it but cannot find AIWB for it. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

At 6’5” and 260, I’m still struggling to make this work. I’m using a JM Custom holster which I find great. I still feel to much pressure into my tactical muffin for it to be comfortable sitting for any length of time. I’m a 90’s kid, so I grew up wearing baggy jeans that are low riding below my hip and under my gut. Is your belt line at your belly button? Could that be my issue?
@JAYURK Жыл бұрын
I switched from sagging my jeans to wearing them at the belly button, night and day difference. A G17 doesn't jab my leg when I sit.

is a claw grip from an IWB holster feasible with a hammer-fire gun? Just in dry fire with my CZ 75 it seems very awkward with the web of my thumb being so far from the grip due to the beaver-tail + hammer. Do you know if competitors or instructors running hammer-fire use a claw grip from the holster? Really appreciate the content you put out here and with P&S.
@ModernSamuraiProject6 жыл бұрын
no vale la pena A big beaver tail can be an obstacle to this grip. Guys like Les Kismartoni do it with Beretta 92 but 1911s and CZ are troublesome.
@evandaire14494 жыл бұрын
Modern Samurai Project I fight with it too with a P226. The beaver tail really gets in the way.
