Another incredible video. Short and too the point. I learn something from every video you put out!

DAMNIT. I just realized I've been drilling this incorrectly for months. I assume a fighting stance and lead with my left hand (for a jab). Scott leads with his "power" hand to make the draw faster. Noticable difference in speed. It's so fun having to unlearning things...

Still working on "speed mode". That lesson and trying to train myself to not pull back as fast after a string of fire has been my Achilles heel after the class. You are awesome Jedi!! Thanks for the help, and I look forward to the next class with you.

Just found your videos today, and man they are great! Love how you break it all down and then put it all back together. Thank you!

I admire how relatively still your right shoulder is throughout your draw process. I don't dig but still struggle to not actuate my shoulder muscle when establishing purchase. Video does not lie and recording dry fire practice is very helpful. Watching payback of my practice at .25 speed I can see exactly when I am responding to the beep (at the B or the P) Thank you for sharing your experience.

So what is speed mode exactly? Pushing the time standard to an extreme limit as the priority, within an ‘acceptable’ standard of accuracy? Then “match mode” is backing off somewhat on the time standard to allow the accuracy standard to catch up?

Question for you: Are you posting anywhere other than KZbin? I'm trying to find and follow all my favorites on other platforms so I'm squared away when KZbin purges all gun content. I enjoy your channel and I'm learning so much. I hope I can take one of your classes in the future. Thank you!

I'm getting down to about a 1.3 second draw from Concealment every time and when i go faster it is hard for me to see my sights so basically I'm just point shooting when i get down to around a second or so but I'm hoping i will start seeing my dot sooner with the more dry fire i do.
@ModernSamuraiProject3 жыл бұрын
Then go sooner not faster. You are probably moving after the beep. Go on the B not the P of the beep.

Although a 0.88 draw is impressive, my buddy Anton Beukes from South Africa does it about the same with a weapon light attached and probably a little faster. Him and I go back and forth with friends competions like the bill drill or 5@5 etc. he’s got me by a tenth of a second on the draw but i have raging splits. We shoot bill drills around 1.7-1.8 seconds at 7 yards AIWB. Look him up on instagram
