I know this is an older video, but with my martial arts background I was applying many of the same principles you are describing. You articulate this very well. I hope to try take one of your classes in the near future.

Very crisply and clearly articulated. Good stuff. The breakdown of tasks-to-times is really helpful to me.

Great break down, and the tip about securing the new magazine first was a flash of *Jiu-Jitsu is everything" for me. A tip so simple the solves a problem or improves a technique I cannot believe I couldn't see it.

Nice breakdown. Looking at each component part makes the totality seem much more achievable.

This is excellent content Jedi, thanks for putting it together, looking forward to eventually trying for a coin! from cold, shot 3 runs straight in the high 4 seconds the other day, but the first run had a slightly low headshot! Also I cheated by calling a mulligan for ammo conservation sake (always poor), but mechanically I am getting more confident in my ability to do this. Next up make it repeatable and then finally conquer the performance nerves/stage fright side of it.

I don’t see the point in the drill can someone explain. If I put 2 in the why would 4 to the chest on the same target make any difference? Also why is this drill so coveted. When there are so many better drills like the el pres? Is it because If you spend the money and try to compete you get a coin? I don’t understand.

Honest question, not trolling: If the 3x5 card represents a human head, why isn't it common to orient it vertically? You always do an excellent presentation, inspiring indeed.
@silent_tofu7921
@silent_tofu7921 4 жыл бұрын
I feel like this is a legit question. If it was vertical, it would line up better to include the brain stem. Maybe it's oriented horizontally because that makes it more difficult for the follow up shot.
@alexanderchung6402
@alexanderchung6402 2 жыл бұрын
It’s not representing the entire head, but the cranial cavity which is the part of the headshot that counts.

I hope you're still listening... my question is- you say a 1.5 and I got .5 split but I'm supposed to do that reload in two seconds or under... this is confusing for me can you explain? Right now my best so far is a 1.21 and about a .27-.37 split to 3x5 but I'm still trying to get my reload in under 2 seconds... do I misunderstand? At this point even at a 25 split for the remaining four I can't make my mark... Also I'm going from a Ragnarok T-Rex arms holster which means I have to add .2 regardless... Maybe I need to get that first shot off in .7 to a 3x5 which seems superhuman... Although Tim Heron seems to do it...
@ModernSamuraiProject
@ModernSamuraiProject 2 жыл бұрын
You’re misunderstanding things. 1st shot to 3x5 card from draw is 1.5 2nd shot to 3x5 is a .5 split. Reload which includes the 3rd shot in 2 seconds. Final 3 shots are in .25 splits. Also in an open holster the goal is 4.5 not 5 seconds.
