I don't want to go into details here, but this essentially block effectiveness of any vaccine for mutating viruses. In fact successive shots will lead to weaken immune response for new mutation. This has been shown on flu example. People vaccinated against Brisbane flu A in 2007 had lot worst responses and defence against 2009 H1N1 flu. And for dengue virus successive vaccines caused cytokine storms leading to demage blood vessels as they have increased permeability and demaged endothelium. The last part is more important to us as so called vaccine for covid is based on cytotoxicity response i.e. body produce CTL instead of B cells for immune response. So in this case effect can be similar to what we have with dengue viruse.
