I love how Isaac Brock is able to put peculiarly deep concepts into such an accessible vehicle of extremely enjoyable tunes. Jeff Gordon Night on the Sun is one of my favorites. *Talking Shit About a Pretty Sunset*, *Edit the Sad Parts* and *Teeth Like God's Shoeshine* are all fantastic songs also and their best work IMO. As for their more recent songs I strangely find myself digging *King Rat* and the *Whale Song*. *Never Ending Math Equation* is also a fun song. There are far to many to list tbh :)

What I seem to see here is something like this. This video was kind of weird. Some people are comparing this music video to "Game of Thrones" TV series. I wouldn't know because I've never watched that show. I'm bored at work so here goes my take. The central theme is madness and corruption, focusing on a mad king who rules over a land that he has destroyed. He doesn't care that everything is dead, as long as he is in control. Something live begins to grow, and it sends him off the rails. He scrambles to vanquish the enemy that is freedom and in his madness, carves out the eyes of onlookers. "Our predecessor left this box And something's clawing around I think it really wants out" Doesn't seem too unlike our the current political situation, and history repeats itself.
