Bangladesh already about to sign an agreement with China to implement an alternative Tista mega project, and most of the Bangladeshi people want the project to go with China. Nawaz Sharif took a bold decisoin to visit India in Modi's swearing in. Opposition made a lot of fuss. He again took a huge risk and invited Modi personally to his family home. It was a big gesture as it was a personal level interaction where Modi Ji even met Nawaz' late mother. In India and Pakistan, this is a great honour and one should not make fun of it. Nawaz took a lot of flak again from the opposition............ In his election campaign, Modi Ji said few unpleasant thing which is understandable in politics. However, he crossed all the lines when he described his visit to Pakistan in a ridiculous manner which has left a bad taste in Sharif family (who has endured the taunts of 'Modi ka yaar hai, Ghaddar hai'). Opposition is using that clip to insult Sharif family. No wonder that Sharif brothers have decided not to congratulate PM Modi this time. It wasn't a taunt to a country that is perceived an enemy, neither was it on Pakistan's military. It was a personal insult against someone who claimed that he won elections in Pakistan on friendship with India. Even Sushma Sawaraj said to Nawaz Sharif in an International forum that 'we have never doubted your sincerety'. Modi Ji should think twice to open his mouth about personal visits, especially when he is a guest in someone's family home, eats with them and meets the whole family.

We as Nepalese love India and Indians but we do have to extend our trade with China. We can't be too dependent on India specially after crippling sanctions of 2015. If we had an access to sea we would say goodbye to china. But we are landlocked. We can only trade with either india and china. Right now we trade with India 90 % .
