Ksport, Ceika, KW Suspension, SuperPro, Quaife, are some other options for suspension and brakes upgrades. Corbeau and Cipher has seat and seat brackets specifically for Tiburons. As far as engine upgrades CP Carillo forged pistons and Pauter Forged rods are still available.

Those front bumper inserts literally transformed that bumper into something amazing. I don’t like the oem look so much but those helped tremendously !

Another thing to bare in mind about noises during cornering is the suspension bushings. For performance upgrades, yes it involves custom fabrication but in my area I've seen two that have been bastard swapped. One has a Honda J series V6. Other is the Honda K24.

Love it! I used to have an 08 GT. I did everything I could to it. I had those same eyelids you have. Mine was supercharged. I have a bunch of trophies for it from shows. My car was in modified magazine forever ago in their readers rides section. Love your car by the way!

Man where was this video when I was just starting out in the Tib game back in 2015 😂. Definitely a video I'll suggest to any new Tibby owners. Real sorry to hear about what happened to yours, glad to see she made a full recovery. Mines got a new little dent on the front fender and it's right along the line and it's super noticable.

Ouch, that damage is bad but can be fixed. Beautiful car especially in that metallic green. Finally got mine back after a year being rust repaired and resprayed, well worth it. Good luck with the repairs and all the best from the UK.

damn dude your Tibby is so clean!!! Lots of great info. I used to be on newtiburon when I was a kid too dreaming one day of owning one. I still remember till this day seeing a roll race with a supercharged tibby and a Neon SRT4 and the tibby smoking it! I'm into saabs now and make videos on it but I would like to get a cheap tibby and restore it.

The add-on parts on the front bumper is a pretty neat idea. At first i was wondering if it was an aftermarket bumper. It's a really nice touch, well implemnted. On a funny note, theses two extra parts kinda look like two T :D Glad you got it back on the road.

There’s also a Godspeed option for the coils. I have them and I haven’t had any issues. They ride super nice for street coils. Definitely recommend.

Ngm made turbo kit till there welder guy pass way and ATP had up pipe and down pipe for turbo kit. Love Tiburon wish we had after support back on 2008.

Glad I'm not the only one with noises from the coil-overs. I put BCs on mine and they feel fantastic, but they do make a clunk noise on hard corners or full lock. Doesn't drive me too crazy, but Im dissapointed considering I feel 1300 or whatever I payed should be enough to not have them sound like they are broken.

Yes this is exactly it and it’s looking pretty common, mine goes a bit further and causes wheel hop/skip and can actually throw off my turn which I’m mad about, like you said especially the price for me it came to 2500$ I think

So quick question, what about the screen in the middle. Do you know if there is a replacement or were to connect it to the battery? My tiburons screen seemingly got disconnected about 4 months ago but when I opened and closed the hood it turned back on only for it to stop working the next day.

Sorry to hear about your accident, I would have thought if the insurance is writing it off you would be able to buy it back and fix it up with some insurance money to spare. I've bought stuff from Fused Fabrication for years now and never seen those Hana Bumper inserts once but I don't do Facebook which will probably be why. I'd love a set of those.

The buy back process is really bad, and a salvage rebuilt title would be more difficult and more pricey to re insure so it’s a lot better if you can fight their decision to not write it off if you want to keep the car, not always an option tho because insurance companies don’t care🙃 you also need to go through a mechanical safety test before you can legally drive which I heard sucks to have done and can take weeks. The inserts are sold out now but they’ll be back

Ksport? You paid too much for that, I wouldn't pay more than $1,095 brand new for it which they usually go for. I don't know where you got $1500 from and it sounds like you got ripped off. I bought Megan racing for about $1,095 for my 03 Tiburon GT.

Hi how did you fit the after market screen in your centre console I can’t find any panels that fit a screen or did you cut yours to fit?

Nope they make them in different sizes to fit I think mine is a 6.9” screen, I should have one linked in my build breakdown video. The FL2’s had an aftermarket radio in them from factory so it went right in, idk about the GKs you might need to buy a dash kit

Awwwww... sorry to see you got dinged, after all that effort you put into it :< Hopefully the frame is still fine; most of that side impact damage looks like it can be fixed by a competent body shop, some of it might even be a "simple" PDR job. Gonna need a re-wrap, though. To elaborate a bit on what was said on turbos: For a basic setup, you'll want to have a Tiburon with the inline-4 2.0 liter Beta engine and a manual transmission. The first thing you upgrade is the ECU (MegaSquirt, AEM, etc). Getting the ECU working is the trickiest bit (though not the most labor-intensive). Past that it's the usual rigamarole of MAF to MAP conversion, wideband AFR sensor, cat delete or race cat install, bigger radiator, PCV rework and catch can setup, battery relocation to trunk, turbo-friendly exhaust headers, A/C delete, flow-matched injectors, intercooler, oil path for turbo, then the turbo and bypass valve and blow-off valve and all other associated systems as well as all the piping that comes with it... and that'll let you run about 0.9 bar of boost. For more power you'll want to tear down the engine and upgrade pistons, bearings and head studs, get more aggressive cams, install fresh examples of every seal and rolling part, port the heads and throttle body, get bigger flow-matched fuel injectors, rebuild the entire fuel delivery system with expensive high-flow/high pressure parts, install an ethanol sensor to be able to run E85, rework the transmission with a limited slip diff and lower final drive ratio (off the top of my head). Long story short: even if you know what you're doing, turboing one of these cars is going to be a LONG and very expensive process not for those faint of heart.

That’s great info thanks! Yah I was trying to in as quick as possible let the newbies know it’s not at all a simple process but forgot to add the turbos are for the 2.0😂 thanks for clarifying that! I was definitely one of those newbies that thought I’d slap a supercharger on it my first year but I learned real fast lol so I’m sure people will appreciate knowing this before buying the car. Yah really sucks i never imagined something like this would happen to it because I barely drive it in accident risk areas. Insurance wanted to write it off but I was able to have help from connections to change their minds but it wasn’t pretty. I just hope I can get it back to what it was, the wrap is a bit of a problem too ): fingers crossed I can save the wrap from having to be taken off completely

​@@theliltibby Fingers crossed :) Unfortunately there's no way to "blend" wrap like you can paint, but if you can hide the cut you could technically do partial panels. That's something for the wrap experts to figure out, though. Yours is such a beautiful example of a Tiburon that it's absolutely worth fixing. Heck, to make you feel better, if you look up a channel called "Pibracing" and a video of theirs titled "Something BAD Happened..." you'll find a Tiburon that got put back together after what looked like a much bigger oopsie. :) And yeah, turboing the V6 is a bit of a challenge due to the exhaust geometry involved and the limited space around the engine. I've seen pictures and video clips of people having done that, but it's generally a lot easier with the 2.0. I'm personally interested in going the forced induction route with my V6, but with bolt-on superchargers being essentially unobtanium, I'm thinking a generic centrifugal supercharger setup might be my best option. I'm still reading up on it and trying to figure out both the technical and the finance details of it all.

If you want oem then eBay or part outs are your only option but they’re pretty rare. If yours are just ripped apart you can get them reupholstered/new skins

I'm trying to find the eye lids, I bought some off ebay but they don't line up/match each other. Kinda disappointing. I had some adjustable coilovers and my left front snapped the I bought a different brand that are 32 way adjustable and they're good no noise at all. I need a new front bumper/rear. Car was rear ended and pushed into another car. I saw them coming so managed to move some and it's not bad so that's good. But I'm sorry to hear about the hit. I bought this car off my best friend of over 25yrs because he couldn't drive it due to him losing his leg to cancer and it being a manual v6, he just passed away two weeks ago and I'm trying to fix if up in his honor so if you do plan on parting it out is be very interested. Did you buy the NIA copies? They’re not perfect and don’t totally reach the ends but neither do the real ones. But considering they’re so rare I think the copies work. Difficult to put on tho you’ll need some good tape and prep work. Possibly glue. I PPF’d my headlights prior too which might have helped with the stick. Hope you finish your tribute project Tib 🤙🏼

When you bought the front lip, how much did you cut off to make it fit on the front bumper?

I cant remember exactly but I think it was 3-4” on each side. I lined it up on one end and measured the end how far that stuck out. Basically how much I would need to subtract. And then I split it up from the center so the hump would still be in the middle

Sorry I also forgot to ask 😅, I saw in your first video where you also talked talk about the front lip. I saw in the picture you installed a bracket in the center hole, did the lip not reach the front bumper? If so, how big is the gap?

@@FreshOffThePack so the lip just ended up being further back in front (possibly just how I installed it) so it turned out I didn’t need the C bracket for height, I needed a flat long bracket for distance to reach the bumper which at the middle is only a short width of plastic. But it’s a DIY so this all depends how you do it. You just have to fit it and see what’s needed

They’re from shark racing. But they don’t sell halo modified headlights for the 03-06 anymore the black ones/black clear corners are all that’s available. Although they do sell the led halos individually (either shark racing or Tuscani customs) I believe and you’ll have to install them yourself into the headlight or take it to a custom shop

@@d.a6530 06 headlights and 07-08 are a completely different size and shape and it would require a whole front end conversion just to fit the headlights. You can buy halos for your specific light and pay someone like 100$ to install them in

There’s pictures online of people doing it but I don’t think an actual product exists, some people try making them themselves or from other cars if you’re good at fabricating. I think fused fabrication was thinking of 3D printing some but that might take a while to develop

Get rid of the hand gestures its annoying. I could see your reflection off the headlights of you filming the video as you talk and throw your hands everywhere. If you want the best bang for your buck on performance upgrades throw a 100 shot wet nitrous kit on it. Just make sure you have the supporting mods for it like exhaust, headers, cold air intake, fuel injectors, fuel pump, proper type of spark plugs, fuel pressure regular. Turbos and even superchargers for these throw away cars are not worth throwing money to. The picture of the supercharger kit you showed was a Nextgen Motorsports super charger kit and they are no longer in business. They were located in Naples, Fl. then the owner moved the business to Texas and sometime years later he went out of business. He had a lot of cool parts for sell on his website at the time. He use to sell supercharger kits in stages from mild to wild 400 plus horsepower support. Sold full motor race builds and many high performance parts. The only thing he was just too dam expensive for those people who are living on minimum wages.
