Last week I drove my Abarth from Texas to Tennessee, did the "Dragon" and mountain roads there. Then drove back. Over 3000 miles in 6 days. No problems, car handled it like a champ, and I was totally comfortable. My back was totally comfortable.

how much did you lower the car down with your coilovers?
@StefABtv7 жыл бұрын
+Klasse Act I'm not actually sure! At some point il get the tape measure out and measure floor to wheel arch and let you know. I had it set quite low as you can see from most of the vids :) will get back to you with measurements soon mate 👍🏻

Good to know cuz I'm considering driving from New Hampshire to Florida to visit my Mum. I found the seats in the Abarth comfortable despite coming from a Cadillac Deville DHS, which is the ultimate highway car. My daily trip to work is 90 minutes, 120 miles round trip and I'm averaging 33.4 miles per gallon. Sport mode on and off. Going to have to try a week in sport mode and none sport mode to see if there is a difference between the two modes and gas mileage.

Heya! Nice you enjoyed your trip - liked the videos pretty much. Want to see it driving again! I am going to do a trip to Montenegro for about 1400 miles each directions in my 595. Enjoy a clean car soon, mate

Enjoyed this series! Any idea what the biggest size brakes you can put on the abarth with the 16in wheels? I'd get a kit like yours but I wouldn't think they'd fit 😂 cheers, looking forward for the next video!

+James Kelly thanks James. I think it will be difficult to get a set of 4 pot brembos with 305 discs on a 16inch wheel unless it's a very aggressive offset to clear the caliper. You would also end up with maybe 2mm of clearance from the wheel balance sticker and that may rub the caliper. I'm not entirely sure and would need a lot of research to make it work. My discs are 330mm with extended brackets. The only way the brembos and those discs clear my wheels is due to 16mm spacers on the front. I can't run 12mm spacers on my wheels or the calipers will catch the inside of the spokes and that would be painful to watch lol.

how do i get the pigeon noise
@StefABtv7 жыл бұрын
+John Greenwood if you have an Abarth, induction intake and a scangauge you can get it by unplugging the dump valve and you will get the noise. Be warned it's not he best thing for the turbo and also you will get an engine management light on so need the scangauge to reset it or it will stay on until you take it for diagnostics 👍🏻
