Modified My 1984 3G Civic

In today's video I start modifications on my 1984 3rd generation civic sb3 starting with some jdm Work 01 wheels then onto lowering it via the torsion bar suspension.
I also fitted some mk1 CRX seats and a Mk3 Golf splitter which fitted extremely well so can't complain.

I have always loved mk2 crx seats which are the same patern just a bit of a different shape. Then these came up and fell in love cost £330

Loved this vid. Gave me some inspiration for my hatch back. How does it ride lowered for you? You didn’t have to rekey the torsion bar? I was under the impression that was required to lower but you made it look so easy.

A bit soft to be honest going to have another look see if I can tension it up a little bit. Never really touched torsion bars so was guessing 😂 but definitely a little too soft suspension wise

@@chris_purves yea lol i hear that as a complaint a lot. Way i was planning on doing it on the fronts at least was lowering it a little further than where i want it to sit, then adding quite a bit more tension on the bars so it’s about factory stiffness or a little bit more. Such a bizarre suspension set up, still love the little shits though.

I just used random lowering ones I had lying around for the rear, and front splitter is a mk3 golf one from ebay £40

Yes 2.0 petrol 04 plate only 44000 and mint
