There is a separate cutting video. You can go to my channel to check it out. I am not that computer savvy. I tried to figure it out but I couldn't add the cut to the making of the soap. I know I have a lot of complaints about this. Sorry.

If you want to know my recipe, It is in the book, Soaping Everything. Just so you know it took lots of practice to get where I am with my soaping. Experimenting with different FO's and EO's., Adding different ingredients, How long to stick blend, what temp worked best. I have told on some if not all my videos what temp. I am soaping at. Good luck. Happy soaping.

First video I've seen where someone shows in real time exactly how long it took to reach trace -- THANK YOU!! So many people forward through all the details, but when you're just learning it's invaluable to watch someone experienced practice their craft. Your soap turned out beautifully, and I love your use of baking scoops & mold as well as the box! :D

Elaine I love your work! I am completely new to any kind of soapmaking. Where do I even begin?! Please direct me to your most basic videos to start my learning process Thanks!
@elainewright97509 жыл бұрын
Jeanette Santo I do not have a start up video but I can tell you how I started.I went and bought myself a book read the entire book and then watched Cathy McGinnis on soaping 101. She helped me understand what I had read. I started learning by making my mistakes. That is your best teacher when it comes to soap making. I am happy to help in any way I can but there is much to learn. Start making your soap without fo's or any color to get a feel for your recipe.You must crawl before you can run. Let me know how you are coming along with your soaping venture. I might add... Welcome to the highly addictive craft/art of soap making.

Hi, Great Job! It looks so lovely! I watched 2 videos of yours and am wondering what is the list of ingredients? and the method for mixing it all up?
@elainewright97508 жыл бұрын
+daniellemarie56 I am assuming you have never made (cold process) soap. There is a learning curb that is important to go through. I suggest the book Everything Soaping. I am self taught from this book. I suggest you do the same. The reason I am saying this is you learn by doing. There is much to learn. Exp. is the best teacher. After you have read this book and have a couple of soaps under your belt, I will be MORE than happy to help you. Thanks for watching dear. Let me know if you need help.
