I've been watching a lot of soaping vids lately, and it always cracks me up that for about every thousand thumbs-up soapers get, there's about 44 thumbs down. Like, how grumpy do you have to be to do that???? Your soap is beautiful, btw.

Your batter is SOOOO fluid. What temp are you soaping at? Is your lye water at room temperature before mixing with oils? Assuming you added colour at emulsion stage but do you keep handstirring after that to keep batter so fluid? Sorry for all the questions. But thanking you in advance on any advice for maintaining a fluid batter.
@Soapish9 жыл бұрын
I soap everything at room temperature. I did not edit out the stick blending, so you can see how little blending I did as not to have the batter thicken. The most important thing is to know your fragrance and use one that does not accelerate at all. :)

Hi there! This video was made for a soap challenge and each design pattern was assigned a letter. I didn't use technique "b" and now I don't even remember what it was! :)

hi I have questions about the recipes used in your soaps because I'm having a problem with keeping up with a good recipe that doesn't turn squishy or crumbly I'm interested to find out what recipes you're using or how I can protect the recipes that I am using I know this these videos where year ago so but if you could comment at your earliest convenience I would be grateful I'm new to soaping I'm a newbie trying to start a business thank you
@MammaCass7 жыл бұрын
Ruth Johnson hi hunny you are truly at best to develop your own recipes in soap calc and there you get some guidelines for hardness, cleansing, bubbles and so on. If you try to get each quality within its best range you can't go far wrong. Also it's vital that all ingredients are measured accurately as too much or too little of any one ingredient can totally change how your batch will turn out. Good luck with the new business x

Do you refrigerate your soap to prevent gel phase or do you gel your soap?
@yunitaatalya86469 жыл бұрын
may i know what colourant did you use? and how did you manade to make your soap whiter? cause mine turned out yellowish. thank u so much and that was a very pretty soap you made!
@shanmareewalker78368 жыл бұрын
+Yunita Adiwidjaja Not my video.....but I use Titanium dioxide to make soap white. Mixed with tiny little bit of hot water first to dissolve. I also get a whiter soap if I use extra virgin olive oil.
