Modifying a Champion 7-Ton Gas Log Splitter- Better Wedge & Ram Push Plate!

This is an incredibly long video. Over the course of a week I fabricated a custom push plate extension to help get the logs all the way through the wedge. I also widened the wedge so it pushes the wood apart better than the skinny wedge that it came with. Other than starting really hard, this is a nice little splitter. After it warms up a bit, it splits pretty nice. I will have a future video getting some splitting done with it. Thanks for watching
