hes good operator on the machines too. seen him dig a big ass tree stump out with the other green excavator. good technique. he was taught well and smart dude will only get better. not to mention he built that cool ass building there out of steel.

Andrew, hello from the UK, great vids, and great work. Just a suggestion for you for your earth clamp on your welding rig and plasma cutter, I used to remove the earth clamp and put a magnet on the end, either screw or bolt the cable to the magnet, and no more clamp getting crushed/banged/falling off. Any old magnet will do (obviously the bigger the better), from an old speaker, or a welding magnet, it just made life a lot easier. Like I said, only a suggestion, no offense taken if you ignore it. @@kansasadventure1831 That's a shame, I had welding magnets on my stick set and my mig set, used them on site work for 30 years, I got on really well with them, still, whatever gets the job done eh. I did still use an ordinary clamp for tigging though.

@@AndrewCamarata If you use the corner magnet, the one that looks like an arrow head, it also helps hold things at a 90 degree angle, but the cylinder welding magnet, the round one, always got a real good clamp on the metal.

Hi Andrew, I enjoy your videos thanks. I have a cnc plasma table mostly use it for my own personal projects. I'm disabled and make adaptive tools for myself. I do make enough money selling signs and art to pay for the table. I don't regret getting it.

I like his mindset on tools and equipment. In one of his videos he said some guys are driving around in a 50k truck, meanwhile he spent 50k and got an excavator, truck, plow, dump truck, lift, etc. He's smart for that. They're tools in the end, and the more you have, the more money they'll make you.

Really enjoying woriking with euro-style ditching bucket like the ones one roto-tilts... That long nose makes a hell of difference for grading, I highly recommend looking at those bucket designs, they work really really good

Hi Andrew, I enjoyed watching you modify this bucket. I thought that the tack and test process was a very good idea and I enjoyed your CAD, cardboard aided design and plasma cutter work. It looked at one point as if you were making the bucket into a grading and sieving bucket to filter out rocks, but maybe that is a future project.

good work. Ive made a few excavator buckets from scratch. A skeleton bucket and a topsoil trommel type bucket driven off the auxiliary hydraulics. I cut everything with a hand torch but we now have a homemade cnc plasma table and it sure would have been helpful in the build. Last project was a large sandblasting cabinet. everything was documented on my channel

You remind me of my grandfather. He started his small business after WW2 in a small town in Germany. He couldn't buy anything, even if he had enough money, because there simply where no machines or tools available. So he built all the things he needed, he invented what had to be invented. An important source for his projects was a destroyed Tiger tank from which he took steel plates, screws and many other parts. I really enjoy your videos, i like to see how you build, modify and improve stuff. Good job!

That turned out to become a handy dandy bucket! It even got two flat sides and an edge inbetween to flatten stuff out. Why would you buy a new bucket when you can 1. have fun engineering, 2. repurpose material and 3. make something very useful that you can be proud of having built yourself and have fun with using it! Plasma CNC is definitely something you should look into, once you make parts on one youll never want to cut it out by hand again, just make sure you go with a good brand the cheaper/kit ones arent bad but lack some features of some that cost only a few grand more. Great modification, bucket looks natural to the eye, good fabrication skills Andrew. I think a CNC Plasma table would make you money where you are, I'm assuming there isn't many with them near you, great for ornate gates, ornaments, weather vanes etc, and the odd Camarata special excavator tool. I love these videos. Every time I weld something, I fanatically clean the metal to shiny state, then wipe with acetone, before actual welding. This guy welds though rust and dirt and mud and god knows what else, and it still works just fine. Nice to see another way of doing things...

At first it is a little weird looking. Seeing it working i wonder why it was not designed like this in the first place! 200% more efficient. Having now 2 big flat sides makes the last sideway grade also much quicker. Can not wait for a video spreading mulch or even out dirt.Thx for another great one. Cheers!
