Great video I’m just starting out and I have a 3500 psi hot water machine5.5 gpm I purchased a high flow injector and a regular injector both 2.1 general pump up to 8-1 on the normal injector and 20-1 on the high flow so I did a test on my pressure washer pump rate witch I was told 5.5 and it worked out at almost 7.0 gpm and with that I tested the draw rate a it turned out to be over 10 t

Great video. I built my carpet cleaning van into a soft/pressure washing unit. I get really good heat to 2200 psi

@@sacjones3270 Yeh. I'm a millwright and built mine to do so.prochem bruin 2. Changed to hydraulic lines. Temp gauge moved to external. Temp bypass removed and replaced with a manual valve bypass directed to water supply tank. Hooked up a valve to unload pressure valve. Air locks happened occasionally.

I always wondered if you could remove the ball and drill them out since most of us use a soap tip or ball valve to rinse and manually shut off the soap...

You can only drill it out 1 to 2 sizes up

why not get a super suds sucker and add an inline pump if you want more than 50%. Or get an x-jet and modify your wand so the x-jet is next to the gun and your x-jet tip is at the end of the wand. You can get 2 to 1 with your 8gpm throttled down to 5gpm with the x-jet.

I have an x-jet and a few other injectors. This was an experiment and to show what minor modifications can be done.

New Sub here. We'll be buying our equipment soon. We're getting a 2.4 gpm/3,000 psi machine. I'm trying to learn mix ratios for downstreaming. I've seen countless videos that speak to mix ratios, but could you explain 2-3 situations where I'd need 100% SH in my 5-gallon bucket? Thanks

I listen to what you were saying to your videos about pressure no I don't know anything about pressure and how that's supposed to work I guess for right now I just want this Downstream injector to work if you don't know what your precious are can that damage the machine I was thinking about maybe not born the injector out maybe what I'll do is I'll just take the injector screw cut the end off of it take the ball and spring out and just use it like that at what time it seems to be working pretty good now not so much what do you think

move your injector closer to your reel and you will lose less injectors due to the water hammer effect.

Hey buddy try this just put a 3/8 or a half inch check valve there and that's all you need and it will suck surfactant in when you need it it will stop it won't let nothing go back into your surfactant you have your everything you need just a simple check valve try this you'll love it a whole lot easier than downstream injectors I'll never use another downstream injector again

@@procareinc.1417 just take the ball and spring out of your injector, and then put a half inch or 3/8 check valve whichever size hose you have that you're soap and sh is running through just put an inline check valve or backflow preventer I use your plastic one in that way whenever you have your soap nozzling it's just pulling soap and s h and then when any other nozzle in the soap can't come through and it's corrosion proof plus that way water can't go back into your sh and soap tank, basically you're just doing away with your chemical injector and putting a check valve in lot more reliable

@@procareinc.1417 Doug Rucker sells it and it's about $105 but I just use a $3 half inch check valve in my Sh and soap line right there at the chemical injector that does not have a ball and spring in it

Over 10-1 so I originally bought injectors for 5.5 gpm machine injectors being 3-5 gpm so there useless at such a low draw rate I should have tested my machine first and bought 5-8 gpm injectors
