Story goes that a bunch of hairdressers would always order fries with kebab from the chip shop on their break, and the shop started calling the dish 'kapsalon'. It makes me so happy that you guys are financially able to keep all of these awesome cars! You two (And chrisfix) are such a good influence on the car community I love to see you guys being able to do this as a job!!!! (Not to mention you've never sold out your youtube channel *cough *cough roadkill *cough) One question I have that no one can answer me is how do you guys know which aftermarket parts will fit from DIFFERENT cars?? I.e you want to mount a Mustang transmission on a dodge charger, do you use a mustang clutch? what diameter flywheel? what do you even google to find an adaptor plate for the engine? Maybe you guys could do a short video on how you figure what parts from what cars would fit on different custom builds! :-)

from my limited experience, an email to both manufacturers goes a long way - they might give you all the specs and dimensions of the parts, then it's up to you to sketch it and see whether it'll fit.

You use a Mustang clutch on a Mustang transmission because the splines in the center need to fit the input shaft, then you just need the flywheel to be an appropriate size.
