That car certainly looks the part now with the latest mods. I have a soft spot for fast Fords having driven an Escort Cosworth and owning a Fiesta ST. I got a tip recently I think from Sams detailing about putting the snow foam onto a dry car as if it is put onto a wet car you are further diluting it on application. I have not tried it yet as the temperature has barely been above zero in the west of Scotland but I did get my alloys tyres and wheel arches done today on my Disco.

Thank you, yeah I think it looks awesome, just need to work on the sound next 😉. The escort cosworth is on my bucket list of cars to own, I’m very jealous! That’s a good tip about the snow foam, will give that a try next exterior I clean 👍🏻

Beautiful car , what a job. Least Ford did away with those key bonnet locks on the previous focus , that would have been a pita . Where abouts in Scotland are you?

nice install glad to see you even filed the plastic edges from the drilling. only thing i would of changed was the intercooler mount remove the plastic inserts where the screws go in for a captive nuts if you can. just dont trust them plastic inserts

Thank you 😃Yeah totally agree, I didn’t have any locking nuts to hold the bolts in or I would have. Pretty sure the bumper will be off again soon (found a few carbon fibre bits) so will be sure to refit with bolts if I do 👍🏻

yer i would the intercooler dont look cheep. and would hate for you to come out one day and see its dropped cos the plastic inserts cant hold its weight is them two bolts the main mount point?

@@nick1012ish they are more retaining points, there are 2 big m10 bolts holding it in underneath plus the rubber pipes help a little as well as they are super thick for standard ones 👍🏻, will swap them out regardless though, as you say, I don’t want to find it lying on the floor one day 😂👍🏻

Do you notice any difference at all with the big mouth, either noise or performance, or is it purely asthetic? I got one for my Focus ST, but haven’t fitted it yet 👍🏻

I noticed a difference, but think it may have been the intercooler and remap that did it 😂. Definitely can’t have hurt tho as it directs the airflow a lot better 👍🏻

@@DaveRebuilds I always liked the look of them but it was a bit dear for what might be a bit of bling.....that was until a brand new un-used one popped up on Marketplace 5 mins up the road for £40 😄 I’m also going to change the intercooler with a standard RS one as their about 50% larger than the standard ST one, just need to source one, and then it’s a stage 1 remap at Laird Performance in Glasgow👍🏻

@@GG-im1cb nice dude!! Dreamscience do decent big upgrade intercoolers, so do Airtec 👍🏻. It was an Airtec I had on my ST focus (video of it somewhere on the channel) and the fitment was spot on 😃

Great, when are you gonna lower it or at least the rear. The rear springs can be cut 1/2-1".

I’ve looked out a set of lowering springs for front and rear, just haven’t ordered them yet 👍🏻. Wouldn’t cut the springs as it’s quite dangerous and can make the whole strut fail which I definitely don’t want (they are quite expensive to replace lol).

I use autoglym polar blast at the moment, but quite a few people ha e said bilt hamber snow foam is better so thinking about giving it a try 👍🏻

@@DaveRebuilds I use Pro-Kleen with wax comes in cherry and apple from amazon comes in 2x 5litres last for months great product I have tried various ones and always return to that one
