13:03 Valmet M82 - The experimental bullpup design from Finland! :) They planned those for the Finnish Paratroopers but they were deemed too inpractical for field use. The sights could actually hit the paratrooper in the mouth during hard landings and the case ejection was difficult for left handed shooters as the spent casing would strike the face of the shooter. At least the weapon itself looked cool and futuristic. Suomen Metsästysmuseo (The Hunting Museum of Finland) in my hometown Riihimäki, Finland has the final version in the Sako room on display.

Fedorov has been one of my most favorite self-loading rifles of all time, only been waiting on a good model to work on. Thanks to our firearm historian and modeler Coutin I've got my hands on this one and barely squeezed it into Modmas schedule. The Arisaka clip's wiggle is inspired by some reload animations in Battlefield 1, where some clips show similarly exaggerated wiggles (especially visible on Mosin and Ross, although I think .303 clip shouldn't be that loose irl). It was mostly an experiment I spent unnecessary amount of time and effort in, but people are liking it so much. Maybe it was worth the effort in the end.

I'm so sad I missed modmas this year. It was incredible. I've missed VR in general. I remember last year sitting down on the floor like a little kid with all my modmas presents. It felt great.

Someone probably already said this, but here it is anyway. The Tetercyz gun is based off of one manufactured by Polish resistance fighters during the second world war. It actually had a fire rate of around a thousand rounds a minute. It was made mostly out of sheet metal, and was eventually captured. None currently exist, although there is archival footage of it being tested as well as fairly detailed blueprints as I understand it.

I created the Nambu Type 2 and SVT-40 ports from CoD for MM2022, as well as the Teterycz My intention is to use H3 as a museum of weapons in other games and in real life, including their various skins, sounds and features [where possible] This also includes cursed and blursed features I'm aiming to do it for all COD:WWII guns - I've already done it for the Type 100 and a shotgun is up next

i found out those mag holding foregrips and they're able to hold any mag that the foregrip is attached to. as long as it's the same mag as the gun it's attached to, it'll hold the mag, pistols or M4s

Yo Jedi, I've tried researching this and the h3 subreddit said it was normal because of the physics engine, but I'm seeing in this video and many others of yours that I'm hoping you have an answer. How were you able to make it so the mags and shells in your quickbelt slots stay completely stationary and not move around at all. I've tried every quickbelt, locomotion, and movement option available and can't figure out how other people are doing it. In my h3, everything in a quickbelt deviates from it's slot relative to the direction I'm moving, like it's trying to catch back up to were it's slotted. If you have any information that could help me figure this out because it does this in both vanilla and modded. For reference I use twinstick with head set as the locomotion point and I'm also using an Index

Couple things could be happening here: 1. There is an option in the quickbelt area (If i am remembering correctly) to set the items to floating and direct (again going off of memory here) that can have an effect on how those items behave. 2. I swear that something changed around the launch of the index that caused my belt to do the same thing to matter what setting it is on. I feel like it isn't always happening though, which also makes me think 3. It could be performance related. I think that position has to be updated a frame after you move, and if your CPU is maxed out, it could be taking longer to get the items moved to their slots. What hardware are you running?

Hm, yeah that CPU should be keeping up no problem. Yeah, honestly I don't remember my machine doing it until the Index came out, but when I asked Anton about it he said nothing changed and it has always been like that. So I'm not sure if my movement speed has just increased over time or what. I'll try to poke around and see what I can figure out, because this does bother me too.

@@jeditobiwan ok so after reinstalling not only SteamVR and vanilla H3, I found there to be no difference with the quickbelt onject movement. When I was going through the settings in game, the only thing I could really find was the object-to-hand connection mode where you can either select direct or floating. When its set to floating, the object in my hand and quickbelt moved the same amount of distance as I describe above. But setting in to direct only affects the object being held and not the quickbelts. I also looked extensively for an option for the quickbelts to enable a setting like this but to no avail. Seeing as how in videos I watch from all different content creators, the objects are either stationary or moving around and floating around. Unless I'm just blatantly missing something I'm not sure what to even try at this point. Let me know if you found out anything in your research.

one thing i noticed was that if you shot down santa the machine gun will not be dropped by santa because you killed him, i thought it would happen to you but you reloaded the scene

I don’t see the new mods in the legacy item spawner. I want to use them in TnH. Also don’t see this modmas map in the main screen. Is this a known bug?

Modmas would be behind you when you load the game up. And the items only show in the new item spawner. The way around that is to load into the Proving Grounds, spawn them in the new item spawner, then scan them into the vault of the old item spawner.

You can just click right on the touchpad when the cap-and-ball revolver is in half cock. You're not meant to rotate it with the trigger for loading.

Ah! I think you need Potatoes Skins installed (should come as a dependency for modmas, i would guess) and then go to your quickbelt settings and look for the second page of quickbelts. I forget the acronym, but they have more slots around the waist where armor goes.

Birdshot in H3? I red multiple time that it was impossible, but it didn't look like it made you lag an fucked your physics over or whatever. How does this bird shot? Is it just birdshot in name and shoots only like, 25 pellets? Or like, they actually found a solution? Or you just got giga chad beefy PC and on a normal PC it does generate lags and problemes?

Ill have to fire it with projectile trails on to see how many are coming out. Maybe thry have simplified it, i didnt even think about how resource intensive that shell would be. I do have a beefy rig though

@@jeditobiwan Bird shot is something I've been wanting to be added to the game for a while, like a lot of other people and each time it was asked Anton explained the results were very bad and the few modders who had tried simply confirmed it, but a lot of these posts are 5 to 2 years old so maybe something new was figured out, but yeah, I'd like to know what you see once you try with the trails on yeah.
