27:08 I agree, but I also like to see it this way: each archetype has key elements that are absolutely essential for it to work. If (like me) you have been playing since release, not entirely f2p but just buying the seasonal passes, and you are 2.5k on you path and still missing cards like (to say a few) Sera, Magneto, Electro, Leader, Hood, Viper, Octopus, Green Goblin, Patriot, Dracula, it can get frustrating for a very simple reason: those cards are literally gatekeeping you out of entire archetypes. And if one of those cards happens to be the key element of the meta deck (like Leader was for the last months) you are effectively unable to play what is considered the strongest (or better, more effective) deck. That said, you can climb with Devil Dino if you know how to snap/retreat. It's just the system that in my opinion is very frustrating and only seems to be on your side if you pay. And it's not like "just buying the seasonal pass" is cheap, I mean it's 12€/month compared to the 14€/month I spend for the Ultimate Xbox Gamepass that literally gives me access to 100s of GAMES, not just 1 card from a single game....

For me the card unlocking system feels so slow that I get bored of not getting new options, anyway about matchmaking, as soon as I got to pool 2 I started matches against all pool decks.

As someone who finished Pool 3 recently, all I can say is.. Collection Level gain should be DOUBLED across the board, period. That'd make it actually feel NORMAL. It's way too slow as is, and it's even worse for people just starting out.

Iv been playing for a while has gotten 4 season pass 43$ and to this day I don’t have a optimal deck yet…. It’s not just making an excuse for loosing because of the cards… it’s because the lack of ways of getting the cards without a monetary way that it’s not guaranteed where I have the problem with, outdated ways of buying physical cards from boosters was a thing back in the day but I least you had the option to trade, now digital cards does not give you the option…I'm in platinum without an optimal deck so the maybe its not the collection argument is not valid in some cases. Anyway thank you for the awesome gameplay.

I like Blade in MODiscard decks instead of Hell Cow, cuz Blade enables double behind-Lockjaw plays T5 for when you didn't draw MODOK (allowing you to hit/cycle into an extra Discard card, which is potentially MODOK himself.)

No they would be terrible in this. Ghost rider would just pull a swarm and clog the board. Hela would get discarded or show up in lockjaw when you don't want her to and clog the board probably with swarms.

On the whole collection debate. Someone posted a complaint on Reddit about facing people with series 5 cards while they were early series 3…. But their screenshot had them winning lol. Series does not denote power levels people There are issues with the rate of card acquisition, but not being able to win isn’t one of them….

I don't agree with blaming losses on your collection level, other than to say maybe that x card would make your deck better I guess. However I definitely think there's a problem with the rate at which you get them. At some point I just got bored of hearing about all the new cards I'll never get to play and stopped playing. If you update your game all the time but 80% of the playerbase doesn't get to experience it then it doesn't mean much. I get to experience the new cards through KZbinrs though, I guess it's good for content creators at least
