@@kattrzs .. Congrats to you girlfraann lol.. I was addicted to hard drugs for over 7 years, and now I'm about 4 years off of heroin.. I haven't been Completely clean those 4 years.. I still drink and take Xanax every once in a while, but I'm still able to get up and go to work every day.. That wasn't happening when I was on the H.. Recovery is all about taking control back of your own life, and being a productive human being again.. I used to go to AA/NA meetings here in the Detroit area, and they have a "do what works for you" type of policy.. Everyone works their own program, and may not be 100% clean, but they don't use the drug/drugs that was the main problem.. I'm sure I'll probably get hated on for my little input, but it is what it is

I love the scene from 3:15 to 3:18. He sets his glass of alcohol down, looks up and decides this is it, with a smile on his face and a nod of his head. He speaks so loudly in those few seconds of not saying one word. He's saying yes to putting down the drugs and alcohol and he's smiling because he knows all the good that will lie ahead of him. That's my takeaway, at least. It's REAL, and that's why it hits me different. 🖤 Never listened to his music until recently, and this is 1 of the songs I'm loving.
