I swear, clicking on your videos is like opening a can of worms.... I always end up spending several hundred bucks. I wasn't planning to branch onto the modulars but this video is changing my mind. Great video as always.

I believe the cube sculpture is a nod to the old lego expert creator logo on the box

Now that I look at the older sets, you must be right.

I never started collecting the modular buildings, but this set I just had to buy. Stil my only and favorit modular building!

I wish I had started collecting them earlier because I really love some of the older sets, but unfortunately, the secondary market prices are just outrageous.

I agree, it is one of the finest Modular Designs to date. I did dark tan pavement and skipped the plant green and red colors (did a dark green with gold flag) in order to magnify the destinct all over impression. Also improved the dome and the balcony structure.

That sounds like an amazing upgrade! The dark tan pavement and color adjustments must give it a more cohesive look. I’d love to see how the improved dome and balcony turned out

I don't have this set, but I love the angles of the building. I like how in has curvature and angles other than right angles. The only modular I own is the bookshop. I bought it because I liked that it had an autumn look, my family loves books, and I liked the blue house that had some interesting buulding techniques, and it even a little pumpkin garden in the back.

I also have the Bookshop in my collection, and I also like its autumnal vibe. :)

I love the angle, but will sacrifice it by adding a second set to this in order to make it 1.5 baseplate

I’m also planning to get a second copy to expand it a bit.

I love this one, was my favourite modular until I built the natural history museum
@lukasthebuilder4 күн бұрын
To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the museum; I was hoping for more. So for now, the Boutique Hotel is my number one.
@joshlyman70594 күн бұрын
@lukasthebuilder fair enough. I think what makes the museum for me is that it's a perfect in between books display, which is how I display my modulars :)

Thx for the nice and accurate review, with exact references to french buildings ! I love this one too, very detailed and well executed. My second choice is Jazz Club, with his unusual New Orleans style and colour theme, but i know it is not very popular. I only own the 5 last modulars, otherwise I would put Parisian Restaurant at the top, with Detective Office.

@ABrickinTime 0 seconds ago I think the space under the stair case is supposed to be for the luggage carrier. Also the hole underneath looks like a mouse hole 🐁
@lukasthebuilder2 күн бұрын
You might be right, though the space might still feel a bit empty. I think adding more furniture would help.
