Honestly he isn't as bad on C0 than people make him out to be (speaking from experience). He's actually really fun to play! Though it depends on your playstyle, too. He's not everyone's cup of tea, the way Hu Tao isn't everyone's cup of tea (which is probably shocking to hear for a few people). All I know is that I've been having the time of my life playing as him, so much so that he became a serious rival to Alhaitham in terms of how much I like to use him. Now that's saying something, considering that the reason why I even started to play this game was to get Alhaitham, because I liked him so much.

For melt, a much more consistent archetype you can do is burnmelt with thoma/dehya and nahida and a flex slot (usually bennett)

i love his gameplay. like i’m obsessed with his gameplay because it just feels different and very hands on and I LOVE the more hands on gameplay. neuvillete’s gameplay was a huge disappointment to me because it’s just charge attack and hold which was very boring in my opinion (unpopular i know a lot of people loved neuvilette’s playstyle, it just wasn’t my thing). i’m glad to see more fun playstyles like this in genshin.

Wriothesley is by far my favourite character and probably will remain so until the end of the game. His design is incredible, his playstyle is super fun and he uses my favourite element. People who say he's bad don't know anything about the game and the power Wrio brings to the table. Both he and Neuvillette are incredible units so I'm kinda scared to see how future Fontaine units hold up or even potentially surpass them. But yeah, Wriothesley is amazing in every way and if anyone says he's bad then they should simply learn how to play cause they don't know anything about the game

His skill is its own multiplier (like Yoimiyas), therefore leveling both his Skill and Basic are important with basic being a bit higher on the priority list. Hope this helps someone!

Just some tips for teams in the godmode video, Thoma is actually really good with him because of Wriothesley being a pugilist, it's just better pyro application and Thoma offers his shield too For freeze right now Diona kokomi and Yelan are good options, however Layla is a better Diona replacement because of a certain character that's not out yet that makes Layla better to use I hear mono cryo is good and I think his best team is hyperfridge

Yeah currently he does have a good variety of team mates to use but there are 2 that stand out in usage rn. Those being; melt with Thoma and Dehya, some people use Nahida in the 4th slot others use a healer. The other most popular is definitely mono Cryo/Cryo swirl, using Shenhe and Kazu then either Diona or Zhongli from what I've seen

Do keep in mind that Thoma alone is not enough for WriZley to melt. You would want Nahida or other dendro character to apply dendro for Wrizzley to melt consistently. My team for him has been Wrizzley, Thoma, Nahida, and Bennett, or dub Bennett for Yun Jin, and healing covered by a Prototype Amber, or sometimes Maidens Beloved, since it makes incoming healing stronger

Shenhe's stacks buff an attack by a flat amount. Just think of your normal attack damage + Shenhe number. So Wriothesley consuming her stacks fast is not a bad thing. In comparison to Ganyu for example, Shenhe buffs them the same amount, Wriothesley just consumes the stacks faster

I'm using him with yun jin, mika and kazuha. With yun jin on 4pc archaic petra and kazuha's buff i get around 120% cryo dmg bonus on him easly. And crystilaze reaction is very useful on this set for yun jin

Fun team I’ve tried. Baizhu, Thoma, Kazuha, Wriothesely. Wrio NA, swirl with kazuha ult, Baizhu ult, Thoma Ult then E for particles, Wrio E, and melt away. Gives you a lot of dps and keeps the burning up time very consistently (probably more with Baizhu C2 but I don’t have that so no idea). If you want more freeze, burn, melt reactions, swap out kazuha with xingqui or yelan. Wrio is very flexible despite being cryo. He is the jack of all trades and works pretty well in most teams as the on field driver or as the cryo dps. He is by no means meta but he will likely get better (become more meta?) with future Fontaine character releases like Furina and Charlotte. Great vid! Cheers!

@@camz9014 oh definitely better, but I was using nahida on my other team and my team fit all the circumstances. I was able to do each side of every chamber with loads of time to spare. Otherwise it would be a lot of wasted time on some chambers and really fast in one chamber. So Baizhu and kazuha was more flexible and offers grouping as well as cryo dmg bonus for my dps driver from kazuha. Yeah even when VV shred runs out I’m still getting 100+ percent increased cryo dmg bonus from kazuha. So it works great. I also don’t like trying to bait enemies into Bennet’s circle when they’re spread out. But yeah for single target that is the better burn melt team, I just considered the other chambers as well.

@@Xannah You do both. He hits hard with normal as well because its fast. (And you can potentially melt often) Hes not like Itto only spaming Charged Attack though. Its kinda like when you play Hu Tao you do 2 Normal into a Charged but faster. So he does like 5-6 hits into charged, into 2-3 normal and then Charged again. Something like that. It consumes Stamina is why you cant just spam Charged. So yeah Dodoco isn't that bad. No wonder since Klee kinda plays similar uses up Charged way faster though. The event weapon is better though overall since it boosts both. I hope this helps in explaing a bit.

I've been playing with him since 4.4 using Kazuha Benny and Dehya with him and I do love this team. He's rocking Hunter's set, witsiph, and C0. Kazuha for obvious reasons, Benny same thing and Dehya for several reasons. Melting with Dehya is pretty easy, plus incrising res to interuption, damage medigation and She helps Benny getting his burst pretty much all the time since I'm not using her burst at all. and Pyro resonance for the ATQ buff. I've built her with the Xyphos claymore, tenacity set with a bunch of EM just to buff Wriothesley's ATQ even more. I know not meta at all, But I like it a lot ^^

I love this dude. I'm running him in a weird Fridge/Burgeon team with Xingqiu, Xiangling, and Baizhu. Rizzy freezes everyone and xiangling burgeons everyone. Honestly he is super fun to play to me. My Rizzy is lvl 90 but everything else is incomplete. I had crap hunter farm so far so 2 piece hunter 2 piece blizz right now. Still does solid damage and its just a blast. People need to stop worrying about meta in a pve game that is damn easy. Just play what you like and enjoy the game

Instead of running Mika on favonius lance with ER/HP/Crit artifacts, try him with r5 Rightful Reward the new fontaine craftable polearm and with HP/HP/HB artifacts ER substats.

You didn't use shenhe skill properly. You have to hold skill to boost normals and charged atks, and pressing her skill only boost his skill dmg. and ult.

My Wrio is level 50, lvl 4 talents across. C0. I have Queen Raiden, lost, found & adopted Qiqi, and the bookwork Xinqui as his supports. And i must say, i am having a blast. This team isnt optimal bust he has 4 piece blizzard set (terrible stats) but let me tell you, this team im is a blast 🤣 literally nothing moves and his the healing can almost keep him in his optmial state of abouve 50% while shooting swords of death and alipping punches... hia paystayle is so fun 😂😂😂😂
