This is something i'd want to do someday! I actually trained to be a chef, but the place I was at was just awful, so I quit after about half a year. I might try again at a different location, but before that, i'll have to do something else to pay the bills.

This guy is the Robin Williams of French food cart operators in Japan. Wow, that was pretty convoluted! Seriously though, why can't this guy be the owner of a bar restaurant in some big U.S. city and make millions of dollars? Most American bar restaurant owners spend their time either in the office counting pennies and watching the security monitors or drinking away their own profits and being rude to customers instead of engaging with their clientele and creating a unique experience like this guy does. Amazing, this guy's customers are buying him drinks, that is if you understand the language.

@@M.saeed247 You are failing to account for one extremely important variable - radius of public observability. During the world cup in Qatar, the eyes of the world were on them (public observability was greater) and therefore people might have changed their behavior towards foreigners because their was a larger reputational cost for deviating, in comparison, to smaller instances where one off interactions have a lower reputational cost on cross cultural moral universalism. While I unlikely will have data to test this hypothesis, the pre-existing work on this topic is pretty overwhelming towards what I stated above initially.

Cet homme me fait rêver, vraiment. Bravo.

My sister lives in Japan forever now, she doesn't hardly speak English anymore. That's actually my point, you need to learn Japanese to interact with them, if not you will get ignored in any country by others if you don't speak the language, but you probably know this since you was there. BTW that's some type of hybrid French cuisine, street mixed with a lower class French restaurant on the east side of Paris, far east

His stall is something else. It was like eating in a party with your friends. Certainly my most favorite stall in Hakata.
