How many feet of cord would I need for a 48inch girth?

17 times 48 plus a couple yards for end finishing. Big horse!

UBraidIt has looms for sale. You might also check Etsy. My next video will be on how to make your own loom. I make mine out of wood but you can make them out of metal or even pvc pipe.

The best places right now are UBRAIDIT and Panhandle Leather. They both have a website. There’s others but those are my go to places right now. Happy weaving.

How are you calculating length needed?

Number of strands x length plus 2 yards for end finishing.
