So this dude was a translator working with US news agencies in Libya. He became a target of the Muslim Brotherhood so he came to live in America. Earlier this year, he was arrested illegally by ICE when he was on his way to a gig in Spokane, WA. Anyone who has had to deal with that kind of crap and can still make people laugh has my eternal respect.

Gotta say I loved it too, and he doesn't pull any punches either. "One Direction was not America's mistake" was a gut punch and the audience evidently had some issues with it, but it's pretty on point. I wish there were more people realizing the imperialist mess that the USA have become and how much of a far cry it is from the great country their founding fathers had in mind, to overthrow governments all over the world for the pettiest of reasons between greed and the slightest gain in political influence. If you told any of the people that signed the declaration of independence that their country would later overthrow democracies or countries on the way there to help dictators get to power(Syria '49, Iran '53, Guatemala '54, Syria again in Operations Straggle and Wappen '56 and '57, Iraq '59, Indonesia '65-'67, ... Iran '05-now, they are smelling oil again, they will invade), they would turn in their graves.
